January 31, 201016 yr Darren Bent interviewed on Football Focus said that his selection would be Wayne Rooney Emile Heskey Jermain Defoe Carlton Cole Fcuk me if that's the best we've got (plus no goalkeeper - see other thread) we might as well not bother going.
February 1, 201016 yr Rooney Agbonlahor Defoe Crouch Rooney Defoe Crouch Bent Wouldnt have heskey at our place never mind in an england squad
February 3, 201016 yr Rooney and Heskey are definately going. If fit i'd say Carlton Cole and Defoe are ahead of the rest in Capello's mind
March 4, 201016 yr I think Crouch booked his place yesterday, so that's Crouch, Defoe and Rooney who will defnitely be going. It's now probably a straight fight out between Heskey and Cole now for the 4th place I would have thought

It's now probably a straight fight out between Heskey and Cole now for the 4th place I would have thought I cant believe theres an English forward thats got 20 league goals this season, with a few games to go still, and is very unlikely to go, and Heskey is probably going to go. Scandalous. Yet again he was dire on saturday Heskey - 2 goals for Carew (following hat trick v reading when he wasnt meant to be playing). Wonder who o neill will drop when agbonlahor is fit
March 24, 201016 yr Sorry to divert from the topic slightly, but can some one explain to me why you have to have a designated squad for the World Cup/CL etc? I have never seen anything to explain why these rules exist amd find them odd, why can't you just pick eligible players for each match and use as many as you need over the duration of the competition?
