When I put Cbeebies or CBBC on my box, the blue program information display stays on rather than automatically closing. Anyone else having this through a Sky HD box? All other channels are fine. Tried to google the answer but cannot see owt...

can you press backup to make it disappear, but then it comes back again.

 

mine was doing this a last week. i just unplugged it, pressed the power button to discharge (if thats the corret term), then plugged it back in.

 

all was then fine.

 

gotta be worth a bash?

Or maybe pressing the SKY button at the top of the remote.

Yes, same, thing, back up turned it off, then it came straight back. I turned it off, then back on, and it made no difference. Its now okay , but I havent done a thing, apart from its been in standby overnight. Bizarre.

just wouldn't fire up

 

did a sofware update

 

still no go

 

rang tech support and they talked me through some other procedure

 

like a clean down

 

lost all my planner and everything went from anytime

 

but its working again

1. On your remote control press ?SERVICES?.

2. Press button 4 (SYSTEM SETUP).

3. Press button 0.

4. Press button 1.

5. Press SELECT to show ?INSTALLER SETUP? .

7. Press button 8 (Full System Reset) then ?SELECT?, then wait for the process to be completed

 

 

this will also speed up those SLOOOOOOW skyhd boxes, not tried my self though.

no, with mine it was all done on the front of the box

 

i think it was coincidence but i'd just changed the remote for one from ebay....
