  1. Don't really comment on this thread because I've no interest in arguing with folk, we all have differing opinions on how leaving will affect us. David Davies and Kate Hoey spoke very well. I'm even more confident the world won't cave in come Mar 29th. Spider I do feel sorry for you, this is hitting you in the pocket and I'm sure it is with some other folk too but it's the Europeans who need educating as much as many Brits as to what wto will mean for us all. It's not a bad thing. I've heard from enough people who have had major dealings with EU to form my own opinion we are better off out. I might be wrong long term and if so, I'll hold my hands up but let's give it a go

  3. Also try Solmar Villas, I got a great deal for Majorca next month, good selection and cheaper than James Villas

  4. We went a couple of years back in January. As you'd expect, it can get pretty chilly, but this is balanced out by the fact that it's far less busy. Get out on the Lido for a bit of a change and also take her to Murano to see the glass being made.

  5. I was there a couple of years ago. I others will have a different point of view but I personally think Venice is far better being seen on tv and in photos. The main tourist attractions are packed, the Rialto Bridge is a scruffy market and St Marks square is bloody expensive. As my missus said - it’s a floating shopping centre. I suppose it depends on what you expect. At least there should be far less tourists in Jan than summer
