  1. 'Your' gang wanted Sam sacked for last 3 years (at least) he was here, you said every year we would go down. 'Your' gang said he would never get us promoted. 'Your' gang said he would never keep us up. I said at various times the problem with 'your' gang is that you are only right when the club does badly so I am sure you are all now delighted to able to pat yourselves on the back and say 'we were right'. Is it time for him to go ? Probably if we do not win Saturday but please do not pretend this makes you right.

  2. Ah, you meant MP's. Sorry, I got confused because you typed "civil servants" in response to a comment about civil servants, so I assumed you were talking about civil servants.

  3. Exactly. In my opinion ken got it massively wrong giving Phil this season. Deserved canning after forest as I think it was more down to Burton, Barnsley and Sunderland. That run at the end was nothing short of abysmal. I get pp hasn't had an easy hand but he really doesn't help himself. Have always been late to the party on wanting managers out but Lennon (when he started shrugging his shoulders) and pp at end of season have been the earliest. Perhaps my attitudes changing (as they are the 2 most recent) but what this man serves up is guff

  4. I have read most of the negative comments on here regarding Oz and people questioning whether he can make the step up. Who do you think you are Barcelona? Along with Bradley Dack he was the best player in Div 1 for the last two seasons, so his ability is without question and lets face it at the moment Bolton are a Div 1 standard team at best. No, the problem is not Qz’s undoubted ability it is more to do with the utter dross he is surrounded by that aren’t on his wavelength. Without him you don't have a playmaker, Williams, Vela et al are all of limited ability, willing runners that cannot do this job. Who is going to trap the ball, look up and do something a bit different? The only way you will get the best out of him is to give him a run of 5 or 6 games and not this ridiculous constant tinkerman strategy that PP is using. Oztumer thrives on confidence and he will not perform to his ability if he thinks that if he has a bad game he will be dropped. Can you imagine the pressure this brings? The lad simply won’t do the things he is capable of and just play it safe. PP is panicing as his job is under threat and he is trying different personnel every week. This strategy is clearly not working. He now needs to put some faith in Oz and give him a run without playing with the pressure of the axe over his head. Nothing to lose now.

  5. As I still can't drive after knee surgery and the trains are on strike I'll give it a miss, but I will watch Sky to see how we get on but I fear the worst.

He's almost as impartial as those 'Rebel Media' sources/links a few on here slavishly lap up. And, incidentally, it was Frosty Jack and Brasso - keep up... https://www.opendemocracy.net/uk/brexitinc/adam-ramsay-peter-geoghegan/right-wing-think-tank-accused-of-promoting-tobacco-oil-indu

  8. Pro Brexit MPs have asked Andrew Sentance to go up against the Commons Treasury next week and ask them for evidence on their farcical claims and reports... This will get interesting now true independent experts are calling out the fanciful claims of the so called left leaning remain “experts” and their notional fanciful bollocks.... Karma time now....

  9. Parky should have gone after the Burton home defeat last season. He should also have gone the day after the end of last season. Failure to beat Wigan and that has to be the end of him.

  12. A nice 2-0 win giving us 20 points from 20 games and bang on target for staying up, which was the realistic aim for the season for most folk before a ball was kicked.

  19. On reflection, I wouldn’t say last night was ‘bad’ as many of our passes did find their man. There was a complete lack of belief though, no snapping in to challenges, no through balls giving anyone something to run on to. Confidence or faith in the manager appear to be rock bottom. Prob both. i can’t imagine any other championship team would have left Hillsborough without at least a point last night the way they played. Most league 1 team would also have got something

  21. Exactly. That’s not the owners fault is it? Otzumer is our possibly bit of creativity, as limited as that may be, now he’s another victim of the Parky cycle, bombed out of the squad completely. Doige has shown promise but he gets 5 minutes here and there. we are shit because of the manager and his negative set up, 5 changes and week and treatment of players. Not to mention what the fuck happens in training. Our squad is as good as any team In the bottom half of our division. Hes lost the players. That’s quite clear to see. fuck all to do with finances or owners.

  22. The problem faced is leaving the EU. Not a flawed negotiation process Not a PM who was quietly pro remain. Not remainers in government Not Brexiteers in government. Leaving the EU. That’s it, my ideologically intransigent friend.

  23. I’m not sure what starting point your talking about, is it giving people the right to choose whether to stay or leave? Or the starting point of allowing the EU to dictate the withdrawal agreement, if it’s the second I agree if it’s the first I disagree. The problem faced have been caused by a flawed negotiation process and allowing the EU to dictate and a remain voting PM who fought a dire election campaign therefore weakening her position.
