  1. Now for a bit of light relief (as pointed out by BTID over on Nuts) Sky Sports have only gone and quoted the parody Ken Anderson Twitter account on their report of the row with Vince. “Anderson hit back later in the day by announcing on Twitter fans could buy T-shirts on Bolton's website showing their appreciation for meat, adding proceeds would go towards paying Dodge's wages.” Even posted the picture too! 2. All this talk of demonstration surely the best demonstration we could show the football world is our show of support for bolton wanderers, there is a good offer on for the wba game so there's no excuse for not getting down on the night. I've got 4 season tickets I'll get 4 tickets for the game 2 adults 2 kids anyway who can use them let me know and you can have them. Let's all turn up and show any prospective owner what this clubs all about. Everyone has a part to play Iles and the Ben should be getting behind the club, that's bolton wanderers not Ken Anderson. Let's get behind the team from the first minute to the last anything after that is up to you. The players to be fair to them have consistently given 100% in most games so I would expect a good atmosphere would bring out the same. Parky needs to set up to win the game, 2 up top like the second half against Walsall, the players do have ability play to their strengths and let's have a go. If he doesn't agree then feel free to fuck off because a lot of the bad feelings and apathy is down to his style of play, if we get beat then so be it but let's have a go. Ken also needs to get real be realistic with the price for the club I don't begrudge him a earner but let's not be stupid. Plus the ticketing for the remaining games could and should be brought down to realistic levels, nobody his coming and I know he's done deals before which have been snubbed but I'm sure if the team started playing more on the front foot then maybe more would come. Anyway for me this is back to the walls stuff atm and if these idiots on twitter really do care about the club then here's your chance to prove it. We will only move forward by getting behind the club I'm sick of the apathy we need a bit of bulldog spirit which Nat tapped into the 80's with lifeline, his speech on the pitch at half time against Charlton (I think) will always live long with me. Ken will eventually be gone throwing tennis balls at him won't make a bit of difference hopefully bolton wanderers will be.

  3. The owner of an asset of community value must inform the local authority if they wish to sell the asset. If a group wants to buy the asset, they can trigger a moratorium for six months, to give them a chance to raise the money to purchase the asset. The owner does not have to sell to a community group. The asset of community value listing only improves the chances of community groups being able to purchase by providing more time to raise funds. It does not require the owner to sell at a discount. The listing of a property as an 'Asset of Community Value' lasts for five years after which it is automatically delisted and the restrictions imposed by the covenant are removed. Communities can however apply for the listing to be renewed. Care should be taken to ensure the listing is continuous- apply for renewal not less than 8 weeks before the original listing ends.

  4. Democracy is when folk vote for something and the politicians carry out that wish. Currently what some politicians are trying to achieve is the opposite of democracy.

  6. I think it’s less about their opinions and the BN using them as a tool in their agenda which is the gripe

  7. All this we are not going to stand by and let this happen crap, throwing tennis balls on the pitch to tell Ken we don't like him will do fuck all, I think he knows he's not popular he just needs to look at the idiots on twitter. I think people actually turning up for the West brom game and supporting the team would look better to a prospective buyer IMO. Also parky actually setting up and trying to win the game on a more regular basis would also help, the second half on Saturday was probably the best entertainment I've seen all season more of the same would be great.

  8. Do you not think that is more due to the fact that every little bit of information, whether true or false is known about the club due to the 24/7 news nature and social media enabling any muppet to broadcast his/her thoughts to the world? If social media was around back in the days of 5,000 attendances in the 4th division, or selling half of an end to put a supermarket on it to keep afloat (I wasn’t around in those days so might be wrong) then I reckon those days would seem far worse than the past 4 months of shite.

  11. So the loony window lickers are quiet prepared to pay upwards of £34 pounds for coach and ticket to travel well over 100 miles to watch a side they don't support. I wonder how many of them have moaned about paying less than that to watch the team they support. They really do need help.

  19. Nobody was asking for 2,000 words on Neil Bonnar's drinking, Churchill quotes and the chairman of FGR being a weirdo vegan. There's definitely a middle ground between radio silence, and making yourself look a twat by ranting and raving at all comers. Ken has yet to find it. Probably deliberately.

  32. Sharp business IMO by Ken to squirm out of the Doidge deal. Wasn't cut for this division or our future in the EPL. Even sharper business getting the muppets at Norwich and Forest Green to cover the wages of Doidge, Wildschut and Williams. Doing a great job. Not sure how anyone can question his running of the club.

  33. Ann Taylor would regularly sponsor a BWFC player back when we were at BP and has supported us for as long as I can remember. No bandwaggon jumping here or indeed 'going back to watching Man Utd'. By speaking out the baronesses may not achieve anything tangible right now, but I don't think it's fair to criticise them just because they haven't got all the answers. None of us have. I think it's really unfair and wrong-headed to be having a go at them tbh. Just my four penneth.

  35. I guess you either place value in that article, or don't I don't see any value whatsoever in this apparent proactive letter which supports the BN and is crticial of KA it brings nothing new to the table unless it's the start of a movement by the baronesses to instigate change, it looks more like a attempt by the BN to say the people of bolton back us in our campaign against KA utterly pointless

  36. So, Vince Prince has got a shit load of good free PR out of us and now he wants Bolton fans to prop up his own team's poor home attendances? And morons will travel there, pay £25 and watch shite for a free pie? Sounds like a lot of time, effort and money for 6 kids to go and shout Fuck The Andersons for 10 minutes. I hope that the small number of travelling Bury fans kick the shit out of any Bolton fan there.

  37. I’m not sure what your beef is with these comments. It’s simply 2 titled ladies who have followed BWFC all their life’s and who are expressing concern at how the club is being run.

  38. Gartside had said for a good few years that the club was up for sale if anyone wanted to buy it. Then the ED money dried up and the sale became more urgent. Still no fucker came forward. Just before we were liquidated Holdsworth appears then brings Anderson in too and puts a halt to liquidation proceedings. Since then Ken has made no secret that he wants to sell. The club has been available to buy since the Prem days and no cunt has wanted it to the extent of actually putting in a decent offer. Even Garty had a few tyre kickers in.

  45. Regardless of the football served up by the man I cannot help but be impressed by him as a person. All kinds of nonsense at the club with him and colleagues not being paid. A club he is highly thought of are looking for a manager and he has maintained a professional approach. I have even heard stories that he doesn’t think bailing on The Wanderers and the staff at this time would be appropriate. All conjecture I know but whatever happens when he eventually leaves this club, unless something ridiculous happens, I will be proud he was once our manager.
