What a nobhead he's coming across as on Social Media. "When you have to bring your own drink in". I have to take my own fucking drink to work you fucking cretin. Window shopping for trainers because he hasn't been paid. If you've had a 20 year career as a footballer and cant afford a pair of trainers you're the issue. I know its a shit situation but in what way does he think he's helping? It also doesnt help that hes fucking dreadful, the shit cunt. To paraphrase, get to fuck you shit 50p footed useless bastard.3 likes

I'd argue all religions are a retrograde step. This is along the same lines as Christians protesting Jerry Springer the Opera or abortion clinics. I'll tolerate people's religious beliefs to an extent - but not when they try to impose it on anybody.3 likes

We said it a while ago Micky, and although today's reporter claimed to have seen her baby he wouldn't be able to confirm it as hers. Not convinced in the slightest she'd had one and reckon it was a ruse. Shame for the baby, obviously, but it's not our problem. Even less pressure to bring her back now. Fuck off Abbott, treacherous bint.2 likes

Anyone else pissed off with hearing about Bluemarble,Inner Circle, Moonshift, Unsecured Loans,Who owes who etc etc? I try and understand it sometimes, but my brain glazes over as soon as i start reading any financial bollocks, as a lot of the "info" on here and from Iles/Nixon is just guesswork. All i'm interested in is getting KA and PP out of our club A.S.A.P.2 likes

So in short today we've learned - - The deal won't go through on Sunday - so presumably 'skint' Anderson needs to pay the players wages on Monday - Basran seems only to have enough money to buy the club but nothing to invest further into it. - There doesn't seem to be any chance of short term profits to appease those investing in the venture. - There seems to be a potential (and unacceptable?) conflict of interest with Basran's other venture, namely that of a football agency. - David Moyes may/may not be our next manager but it certainly won't be Warburton. - The club seems to be in hock up to its eyeballs - with all revenue streams already having been factored out. - Anderson needs to find £8 million to pay to Eddie Davies Moonshift in order to sell the club - which he seems not to have. - Peter Kenyon is a red herring! Now I'll list the bad news... I guess it is, what it is, and it is not over until that big boned lady sings. Onwards and upwards and tomorrow is another day. Thanks for all the input Howard - it's been fun (in a sort of way) and it will be interesting to see how everything actually does play out. Stick around I'm sure there quite a few more twists and turns to go yet!1 like

It’s unnecessary. We know you’ve not been paid but you’re still better off than 99% of people that read that message. What he’s basically doing is taking the piss out of the club, everyone knows we’re fucked, the fans are well aware, stop acting the dick and taking the piss. The fact he’s utter shite just adds to it, some would say he’s lucky to be playing professional football still, never mind drawing a wage. A different approach would be to take the Wheater approach, a proper leader, keep quiet, rally the troops, head in and talk to the staff to try and keep morale up (fair play to Lowe and Matthews too). The takeover will happen, the club will move on and I would love to see Wheater, Lowe and Matthews with us next season. Players who are clearly giving everything and have the right attitude. Donaldson can fuck off, shite on the pitch and comes across as a bellend off it.1 like

The sticking point is ultimately this: Moonshift won’t discharge their claim on the shares until paid in full by Inner Circle, and the amount is greater than the stated amount on the companies house document. Inner Circle can’t pay until they receive the loan paid back from Burnden Leisure (new owners) and find another £3M. New owners won’t pay until the charge on the shares is discharged. Something of an infinite loop. KA possibly needs £8M plus for a pay day...... and the new owner needs to fund that.1 like

Absolutely. Basically they did the opposite of what we did. Martin Petrov being a good example of what we did wrong.1 like

And he if came into Retreat tonight spouting shite about the backstop, I’d say Oi Barnier, non, you might be some kind of unelected bureaucratic piece of shite, but you are still getting it, cunt.1 like

I would guess if Basran did intend to pay £28 million, then he would also have additional funds as well to put into the club - funding of the future wages (which we don't seem to have if Anderson really needs to fund last months from his own pocket would seem to suggest) for the rest of the season alone would involve something like £3m. So his budgeted investment would be upwards of £30 million at least. I'm out of my depth to know the legal and financial timeframes and ramifications of going down the route you suggest but it always seemed to me that the end of Anderson's tenure would have to involve Moonshift and the other major creditors in some respect. I do hope you stick around and keep us informed of what you can in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you for your input already today.1 like

Thank you. I guess the risk depends on what you can afford to lose. Seems to me that to be competitive would involve expenditure exceeding revenue at least in the short term but the reward great if you can achieve it within the confines and timescale of FFP. Too rich for most people's pockets, I would think. Hopefully our new owners have exceedingly deep pockets. Thank you also for sharing your apparent insight of the clubs current financial position with us.1 like

Cash incomings just services the debt taken on in the first 12-18 months. 3 years of ticket sales-factored, sponsorship deals- factored, hotel reservations-factored, corporate boxes-factored. The issue comes when the expected volume for factoring is far greater than the actual amount, especially when the factoring company handles all your merchant accounts and releases funds after their payment.... The above is one of the issues Basran faces, in a typical takeover you would raise funds against assets, in this case there are literally no assets that aren’t charged or collateral.1 like

Donaldson was a decent player who is way past his best, but is still as good as, or even better than Magennis who will never be more than Div 1 standard.1 like

It works for Burnley and they should be the blueprint for "smaller" clubs punching above their weight. They don't pay a lot for players, but they sell players for decent money, they don't pay massive wages and their ground is almost full every week in the Premier League. Oh, and they have a decent manager. Everything i'd like to see happen to us.1 like

Agreed, no doubt Ken will want a wedge out of this for " services rendered", so lets get him paid up, fucked off, then we can all crack on.1 like

You have the accountancy back ground can you clarify how this 5 million loaned to BWFC by ken’s company will be resolved if Ken does not pay the moonshift loan back?1 like
-
Hope that’s true but I’m thinking the shares settles the 5 million he owes moonshift but the 5 million he lent to BWFC makes him secured lender to BWFC and that needs to be paid back to him.1 like

Talking to Nicola who wanted to know what Packy was like as an early teen. I told her when he played subbuteo at his house, if he was losing, he would withdraw all his players off the pitch and abandon the game.1 like
