  1. I'm starting to rather like Bassini. We need a maverick.

  2. Absolute cricket legend in my eyes, first played for England in 1950 and his last appearance for England was 1976, he was also mentor to Botham, check out the time when he faced the West Indies fast bowlers in their pomp, no hat just pads and box and got smashed to pieces but stood up and never back down despite getting battered black and blue. Check out his stats and career. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Close

  7. What exactly is wrong with being anti-EU ? Its a failing corrupt system, acknowledged by its very own “leaders” to be struggling and in urgent need of reform. What do they do ? Nominate new folk who are even more corrupt and unpopular than the last. Check Leyen’s popularity ratings, she’s as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. Merkel has admitted her migrant policy was a disaster. You only need to look at the terror attacks which claimed hundreds of lives for proof of that. Plus, several member states are falling into recession. These are facts, and these facts speak volumes. Your views and opinion are stuck like a broken record. A classic example of a brat who’s never seen real sunshine.

  9. If all that was correct, wouldn't Ken have known all that when he secured his charge against the hotel? So why would he have done it? First thing to always remember is that nobody knows anything. You can't become an expert on the ins and outs of the clubs finances based on Google and CH alone, as gets proven time and time again when new information comes to light.

  10. Best way to shut Bassini is to complete the deal, instead of spending more money we don't have on getting lawyers to send him threatening letters about the threatening letters he has sent the administrators.

  13. Protect our country? You actually believe folk actually want a bad deal so they can stick two fingers up to Leavers, you really are unreal You are the one that's prepared to go 'no deal' and say "tough shit" to those that lose their jobs as a result, I've heard it all now🤣

  18. I think you are confusing me with someone else, never said it would be a piece of piss, certainly when you take into account the amount of MPs and high profile remainers who have thwarted the process from day 1, without their input we’d of left by now, it seems that we are finally going in the right direction, by choosing a leave PM, one who will hopefully have the balls to take a no deal to the wire or even further, otherwise we won’t get the best deal. (This as I’ve said is key to leaving with the best possible deal since day 1)

  20. He asked where the court boundaries where. He was told he was fine where he was. He was then arrested for contempt of court for recording within the court boundaries (he was actually arrested for breach of the peace but hey ho). He might be a bit of a fuckwit but the entire thing stinks.

  21. If you think Leavers voted out because of the Turkey story you’re deluded 17.5million people voted to leave the EU in a Referendum over 3 years ago, we are no nearer leaving now than we were then, if that’s not a Government/ Parliament conspiracy I don’t know what is We were right to fear a stitch up

  22. I guess, if £40k an event washes its face Must be some variable costs to consider Then you still have to land 6-8 concerts a summer Let’s face it, Ken has made himself out to be some sort of deal broker, bad mouthing all the deals he inherited, yet £40k for the Rod Stewart concert seems very underwhelming

  24. I’ve read the article, my opinion is that from taking over as PM she, along with her inner circle, instructed top civil servants to subtly obstruct plans and negotiations around the Brexit plans as much as they could without making it look too obvious. Liam Fox was given the job of finding alternative trade deals, I believe he is a covert Remainer, the current row with the US has been set up by Remainers who wish to make it harder for a new PM to get a deal with Trump If Boris is the new PM it will be interesting to see who gets culled

  25. I agree there are a hell of a lot worse walking the streets. They're not on telly every day though or sticking themselves in the limelight. TR is - so we talk about him. He's also a useful reference point for the lens you view the world through. He's divisive - so he's interesting to talk about. It doesn't mean anybody thinks he's more deserving of prison time than a nonce though. And I'm not happy or sad that TR has been jailed. I'm certainly not gloating about it. I'm pleased that justice has taken its course and we've not been cowed by populism. Which would be just as dangerous as being cowed by political correctness has proved to be. In my eyes anyway!

  26. You like to use a lot of if, what’s and maybes. He’s been done for contempt of court like thousands of others. He’s been jailed unlike thousands of others. There’s full on wrong uns walking the streets but the judges seem more concerned about jailing someone for being on Facebook live? Do you think that’s right?

  28. An interesting comment on the aforementioned rent-a-gob(shite) Hopkins by Sir Mick Davis... https://www.thejc.com/comment/comment/sir-mick-davis-katie-hopkins-homelands-screening-1.486303 As a somewhat related aside, I googled that ex-copper who made the 'grooming cover up' speech. The fourth or so result was the Twitter account of the 'Family Defence League' about the fourth tweet or retweet or whatever on the feed (probably authored by a 'Baron' or 'Viscount' something or other) read something like (paraphrasing)... 'The Muslim and the Jew have always viewed the infidel and goy as ripe for sexual enslavement...' Before going on to embellish and explain the statement further with more anti-muslim and antisemitic drivel. Totally unchallenged. Scratch the surface of any of these weeping sores on the 'net and you'll find unqualified hatred towards all minorities - despite their 'we're only after the muzzies - honest, guv...' facades.
