Bang on. Don't think he/they will though. Looking at the footage, the coppers and public dealing with the cunt suddenly move away, presumably as they see his vest. Then they do him, reportedly as he went to undo his jacket. The only person they should be before is the queen as she taps them all on the shoulders with a sword. Top fellas all.3 likes

Well she's a legend, no exaggeration to say that she should be honoured by the club in some way, and I mean while she's alive not when she's no longer here. Players become legends for 2 years service and she's given about 80 years to the club and made a significant contribution. As for rub offs, just impossible to say that without thinking of another legend, ding dong do. Another one that was a part of the fabric of BWFC.2 likes

The more and more I think about parky, KA was a convenient excuse for him. He hid behind it for the majority of his reign. Sunderland fans will eat him alive1 like

Mary's is for pouring, which in fairness Delia does say use milk/single cream for pouring, so some concencus. I reckon ours is made from dinosaur eggs, a pint of spite, and lime juice for added bitterness.1 like

The reebok was funded indirectly by the chinese communist party using children from the now defunct one child policy as slave labour. Gordon Hargreaves helped broker the deal in exchange for clean-up services he provided for the Tianenmen Square protests. Said child slaves were fed on a diet of Warburtons toastie bread with a generous spread of can you believe it aint butter which stunted the childrens growth. The child labourers moved on after the reebok was completed and most now work inside the pack and scan tills of various supermarkets, snatching notes as fast as they can1 like

This isn't some defence of rapists - I'd quite happily see them castrated and slung in a dungeon for life. The ones who allowed it to happen should've faced custodial sentences also, and been barred from any position of authority above salt shaker on the fries station at McDonalds... But how did 'political correctness' come about? It was a reaction, however ill-conceived and/or actioned to the behaviour of racist, sexist, anti-semitic and homophobic cunts. Many of whom belong to your generation. Political correctness to me is just good fucking old fashioned British politeness - would you say something or behave in the same way in front of a minority? As an aside I often find it amusing when certain folk (not you) cite a friendship and/or fight camaraderie with a 'good lad' of West Indian or African heritage as proof of their non-bigot status, conveniently sidestepping said 'good lads' probably would've slapped them silly (with fists 😉) had they transgressed whilst in their company... Aye, are those who gathered at the gates and pushed in from the back worthy of being criminally convicted? Or the person who ordered the fences to built? Or the average football fan across England who’s behaviour caused those fences to be built? It was all one big disaster waiting to happen and everybody was culpable in some way. Duckenfield fucked it big time, but he wasn’t trained properly and shouldn’t have been in that postion, the blame carries on.... What happened after, the lies and the coverup are a totally different story. The families deserve justice for that.1 like

Thought exactly that. A guy on talksport explained it all pretty well and I can see how diffiuclt it was for a jury to criminally convict just him. All well and good an inquest deciding how someone died, but when you take that to a criminal court the bar is miles higher. Forget the cover up, were his actions that day a criminal offence? I’m saying they weren’t. Hugely negligent and made massive mistakes under duress but worthy of criminally convicted for killing folk. Nah.1 like

Was there a particular reason why the aim was to have Dukenfield found guilty of manslaughter rather than going for a corporate manslaughter charge against SWFC/South Yorks Police/the FA? Given the context of there being so many factors - the allocation of ends, previous crushing incidents, the lack of a proper safety certificate, the appointment of the commander etc - it seemed odd to try and pin it on to the acts of an individual and not necessarily taking in to account the mitigating factors.1 like

Not sure of your point here. I had a drink pre-match but didn't turn into Jimmy Ten-Men. For me, if you can't have a few beers without then wanting to fight every fucker you really ought to consider not drinking.1 like

That's sad to read. I've taken my kids (now in their 20s) to plenty of home and away games but when they were growing up we were in the Prem, so we hadnt small club mentality not jolly boys days out mentality, so the atmosphere was different and generally speaking we werent subjected to idiots. There was a few blips when free coaches were laid on (WBA springs to mind) which brought out the not rights. Dont hold your breath thinking they'll change with parenthood, you see them dragging their kids up to behave like them and teaching them that their behaviour is normal.1 like
