  1. Sadly so do I thin end of the wedge this And he can fuck off with this “keep putting my neck on the line”, like he’s doing us a favour. I must’ve missed it when He turned down Madrid and Juve for us. He needs to keep his nut down and just get on with it. We all know how hard it is

  2. Read Hills comments and while he may be taking some of the social media muppets to heart hes basically right. There was one mon on after Burton saying we should be beating these at home! Not any more pal (forgetting our shit record against them anyway) teams like burton and rochdale have been building over a number of seasons, have stronger squads and are not operating under our current restrictions. We have no automatic right to beat clubs we have looked down on in the past. Its present now and we need to give manager and new owners time. Yes im worried but we are in the shit and need to stop looking back. Them days have gone

  4. No.1 rule of Management - don’t slate the fans, it never ever ends well and is quite often the beginning of the end. Like a few others, I won’t watch his interviews, he comes across as an absolute clown - I hope he’s not like that in real life / on the training ground etc. because I can’t imagine the players can find much sense in what he’s saying. Football wise I don’t really care, we’re down this season so he’s got no expectations (apart from building and bringing through youth etc). However, the last thing this club needs is more division, whether that’s falling out with players or the fans and so far it looks like he’s doing his best to have a good go at both. If that carries off then he can fuck off for me before he does any more damage to a fragile club.

  5. I was hoping not to completely destroy his confidence so that he might be encouraged to give us some predictions for 2020. Brexit uncertainty? Just read what Salford Trotter says and plan for the total opposite.

  6. No anger management problems here. But people don't have to take my word for it. They'll know that if you're saying it, it's sure to be wide of the mark. That's simply because you've been consistently wrong about absolutely everything else you've said on here for the last three years. You've got a slight authenticity and accuracy problem. Won't stop you posting the dreary links from remoaner transcentral though will it. Get some grief counselling before you start diagnosing other people. By the way, you never answered. How's that turning of the tide in favour of remain that you spotted in the aftermath of the Spring European elections coming along? Did you have money on your safe bet that Boris wouldn't come back from the EU with a deal last Autumn?

  8. We did ok today. Unlucky to lose. The new midfielder looks a cut above what had before. need to listen to the Hill rant properly but as mentioned he should at least be mentioning that today we probably outnumbered the home fans. There was no turning on the players or management. We have lost 4 times to Rochdale this season fans of other clubs would be dishing out a lot more shit than comparing them to previous managers. The majority of our fans know we are in the shit and are sticking by the club and supporting the team. The one thing that has helped the club survive in last few months had been the unity between club/fans/management. Hill needs to reflect on that. He almost seems to disregard/dismiss the kids who played at the start of the season. We are in a unique position. Hill needs to understand what the fans have been through. If he does not like the situation he has the option to walk away, we do not have that. I am a long from convinced by him but would love it to work out. He seems to spend a lot of words trying to make him sound clever. But it ain’t working.

  10. We’ve thousands turning up home and away who know we’re most likely to lose, spoke to loads of lads today no one thought we’d win, if Hill reads the odd harsh remark on social media and thinks that’s what we’re all thinking he needs to wise up and get a thicker skin.

  14. Correct what shit has he actually had to put up with from the press fans and players up to now don’t know what he is going on about ? if you’re getting beat every week there is going to be criticism . Having long term plan is great but you need to be competitive now also

  17. What the fuck is KH on about? Who’s compared him to Sam Allardyce “I’m sick of being criticised”....he has had no grief whatsoever, just lots of backing Doubt he will be able to hack it when times do get tough.....wait until we start getting dicked in Div 2 Keith It seemed premeditated and nothing to do with the interviewers question ”Were not on the same page” WTF is that about

  18. He’s being naive It’s like the Famous Keegan rant in that he’s showing mental weakness Who is comparing him to anyone, except the moon men who only fellow mentalists listen to If he’s weak enough to let that get to him then he won’t last the course as we are still in for a bumpy ride for a minimum of 5 years The only thing in the back of my head is that I know he’s simply trying to protect the players by this deflection, but good grief he needs to man the fuck up

  19. Can't agree. I think he's interesting to listen to, far more so than the dour Lennon, bullshit-ridden Freedman, puppy-excitable but naive Coyle, or joyless Parkinson. As Green Jacket said, he's perhaps a bit weird, but I think quite refreshing. But then, Hill's not solely employed as a public speaker. His job is to inspire the hodge-podge of kids and rejects in white shirts to become greater than the sum of their individual parts. I genuinely believe he's well on his way to doing that.

  21. Spot on. We were worthy of a point at least. Hamilton was a presence in midfield. We were without Lowe and Murphy who would have played where Edwards ended up. Murphy's shirt got pulled all over the place again, we hit post and bar.

  23. But why is it so bad? In my view a lot of the cost is attributable to the long drawn out process caused by Gina miller and her like and the uncertainty this has caused. is a chunk of it attributable to brexit itself absolutely as some businesses will suffer undoubtedly. but again those who sought to deny the democratic will of the people have a lot to answer for as it was completely avoidable and it should never ever have been allowed to happen

  26. He is unbelievable. There have been the hystericals on here (Cheese, Bury Boy, Spider etc.) but this bloke has been on a different level. I was seriously starting to worry about his health - blood pressure pills or similar required. Ignore them PH. Like the majority, you have stood strong in the face of the anti democratic types.

  31. This plane being shot down is an unintended consequence. You can't predict the exact nature of stuff like this. But you can predict that it's more likely to happen if you ramp up the aggression. And I very much doubt it would have happened at all had Trump not ordered that drone strike. In some ways it's sobered everybody up and helped de-escalate things. It's just a shame a plane load of innocent people had to die to achieve it.

  32. £20. If we'd charged more I'm certain both teams wouldnt have brought as many, they would have called us money grabbers. Our prices this season are spot on and should be kept the same next year in Div 2.

  33. Whilst Paul Hanley has much much stronger views about the eu than myself and brexit As well i have to say I do agree with a lot of his sentiment. Do I find him strange? Not at all. the irony though in cheese you calling someone strange! Anyway each to their own alot of folk have had their brains addled by brexit on both sides none more so than on here! It’s times to let go now and move forward for everyone

  34. Another brazen democracy denier rears his ugly head. You remoaners have been absolutely slaughtered. The debris of the nonsense you've been spouting since 2016 is scattered throughout the landscape of British politics. The remainers who accepted the result and the concept that a democracy requires the consent of the losing side come out of the 2016-19 period with credit and reputations intact. You do not. Quite the opposite. You're the sick man. A sickness that has no cure it seems.

  35. You're a brazen democracy denier. There's nothing stranger than that. The responses you get reflect that. One day the penny might drop with you and your ilk but you are so thick skinned that it may never happen. People like you are now widely despised and you deserve it for the performance we've had since 2016. You've dug your own pit.

  38. And there is my point proven. whether there is a war or not. Iran are 100% to blame this is their reaction And it falls on them trump isn’t culpable and it’s astonishing that you say so is trump/US culpable in some way for the Missile attacks on their base? Absolutely it’s targeted retaliation and expected Is trump or anyone but the Iranians who shot down a civilian passenger plane culpable? Absolutely not you want to try and explain your viewpoint to the families of all those killed?
