  2. Ah the lad from the CPS, got you 2006 - TR sets up the UPL - United People of Luton, originally protesting against Anjem Choudary's Al-Muhajiroun who were recruiting for ISIS in Luton and had had a demostration at a Soldiers homecoming holding sign's saying 'Butchers of Basra' 'British Troops burn in hell' etc. but one of the items on the protest list was Grooming Gangs in Luton 2009 - EDL forms and one of main issues is Grooming Gangs 2011 - Times write a series of articles about grooming gangs as they don’t want the far right using it to gain momentum (i.e. EDL/Tommy Robinson) Massive increases in the arrests of grooming gang members who have been ignored for decades Now TR went completely about it in the wrong way but does anybody seriously think that Robinson/EDL didn’t have a massive impact on bringing this phenomena to light?

  3. Highlight of my day was bumping into Mick McCarthy on the platform at Stockport A genuinely nice guy who was happy to chat football whilst we waited for the train, he waa going to Charlton Boro to do the in game update thing for SKY Told us that when Coyle got sacked he had a two hour interview with Gartside and was absolutely certain he would get the job, thought it was nailed on but PG never got back to him and appointed DF instead Then every time he came back to Bolton with Ipswich PG would go out of his way to avoid him and not speak to him As we got on the train i said "do you not fancy getting back into management then?" and he gave me a funny look and said "i manage Ireland"

  4. As you know and we all know they are doing it as it’s the politically correct thing to do to glorify muzzies and try and cover up the dastardly deeds that they comit as it simply doesn’t fit with the agenda so to do this they find a way to report as per the above a stat that is absolutely meaningless and has zero context around it. And anyone with half a brain can work out the maths. but the press are fearful of being reprimanded for insulting a certain section of our society

  5. The Independent really is anything but, what a fucking stupid article So what they are saying is that Asians who make up approximately 4.5% of the population are responsible for 45% of torrorist arrests? Take out the chinese and other nationalaties lumped into Asian who don't commit terrorist offences and it looks horrendous so why they are trying to portray that it's white people carrying out all the offences is beyond me. It's no wonder people don't read newspapers anymore.

  6. Bumped into Tony Kelly tonight, I was with Man U fan and plastic Liverpool fan, said hello and he came sat with us for 1/2 hour, his love for BWFC was inspiring, said BWFC tried sign him twice and he refused then he had 10 minutes speaking to Nat and he signed, great to hear his comments on our fans, loves us big time, by now the end of the night my mates were nearly signed up wanderers, what a top fella.

  8. I’ve no idea what this means. Anyways, speaking of Burnden, my old man dug out some old pics of when I was a mascot/ball boy at burden, I remember seeing my grandads face when he saw us walking out onto the pitch, him more than anyone thought I would play for Wanderers. I didn’t but I won the Greater Manchester cup with School and Nat handed over our medals and my grandad said it was one of the best moments of his life watching that. (Nan was pleased with that) I wouldn’t be a Wanderer if it wasn’t for my granddad because he is a dirty Everton fan Bit off topic but hey ho

  9. Ederson had a Weston today but I could probably count the amount of mistakes he’s made for city on one hand.

  10. Yeah quite a bit nearer. I drive through Eccles most days and keep my eyes peeled for Roger 'Red Army General' Dubious just in case. 😂

  11. Tony Kelly was the type of midfielder that English football lacks to a large degree now. Certainly the England side needs someone who plays in that style - great passing and vision using the full width of the pitch. A lot was made of how Pirlo controlled the game when England played Italy in the 2014 World Cup and how we needed a similar type. We've developed and become a better side since then - but it's been based on raw pace and ability to beat a man. Both great things. But we still miss that pivotal silky midfielder in the Hoddle/Wilkins style. TK wasn't of that standard but could have been better had he been able to tackle his weight. Seems like he's a great bloke too... and has Bolton at heart.

  15. I think that Scandy/Danish route is something that could still be explored even now. Their players don’t seem to have that “Billy big Bollocks” attitude that some of out British players have and like i said earlier, they are very committed professionals and very good technically. Wolves have done it with the Portuguese lads, maybe we could do it with the young Danish/Swedish/Norwegian and Icelandic fellas.Got to be better than the kids/bids and journeymen we’re using now ffs.

  16. Maybe it was the circle of Wanderers I knew at the time. I heard that about training about Mick, I dunno how common that was then but it certainly is now

  17. I'm with you 100% on the stupidity of some of the EDL, pig masks and Allah is a peado were just fucking stupid, The Birmingham parents, I have a bit of sympathy for, kids being taught LGBT and introducing drag queens to 6 year olds is not for me. Don't think that was about religion, think it's more about concerned parents but the media have turned it into religion
