  4. In reality the 'football family' didn't give a shit about us when we were struggling to put out a team at the beginning of the season and many clubs/ fans would have seen Bury as one less relegation places to worry about. We had the points deducted and transfer embargo applied for a crook owner so if clubs cant get through this without administration then fuck them.

  6. Two words: Ashley Judd This thread has always been about watching and mocking or criticising Trump, because of who he is The only reason it's been "left to Hystericals" is because you and his other fan boys on here can't defend him anymore

  8. I was talking to an old mate asking him if he could remember any Warbies stories. He reminded me of a Millwall fixture when their fans actually smuggled an Alsatian dog onto the embankment & an altercation ensued with the dog getting pummelled as well as Millwalls finest. As someone said never a backward step having said that their territory was well chosen !

  15. But not to Bolton or Bury because they got there first? We all know of clubs who were being reported as being "very close" to going the same way. So if they'd actually gone the same way a few weeks ago they'd be getting their -12 and whatever other punishments the EFL hand out. Now they can blame the whole shebang on Corona the folk involved in mismanaging the clubs get to walk away unpunished? Doesn't sit right somehow.

  16. I get it i really do. I had my own business for 3 years and sold it successfully and paid my self exactly the same way you are doing and incorporated it for exactly the same reasons. My purpose in paying myself that way was to reduce the cost to me and the business in doing so. Simple as that i was fortunate I didn’t have to then deal with anything like this.

  22. Can't remember if this youtube channel has been posted before - and Im not trawling through 90 pages to look! "Ye old football channel", which has compilations it seems for most year from early 70s up till much later e.g. we turn up twice in the 76-77 one (Wolves game obviously and also Chelsea away) - may not be Bolton stuff in any of those years we haven't seen before, but loads of old ground nostalgia in the other vids to help pass the time

  24. Yeah, theres the headline stiff, the three or 4 bullet point summary, but in the text, it states quite clearly about keeping the economy going and how you must go to work if it cant be done at home

  27. Playing 19 as we all had it. All had to start on league 1. First to win a major league or cup wins a tenner of the other 2. Once done we will set another target etc. Has been really good

  29. Today has reconfirmed my belief that we've really got the best fans in the world. We've our fair share of knobs but when called upon, they never disappoint. We're massively moved by people's efforts to help today, I can't thank you all enough. Much love xx

  30. "Carry on emitting and polluting" - sounds like a great sequel to Carry on Camping. Sid James and Bernard Bresslaw run into trouble when their coal-fired power station gets picketed by protesters led by Barbara Windsor. Hilarity ensues when her bra strap gets caught in one of the blades of Kenneth Williams' wind turbine. "That's the biggest emission I've seen in years" says Sid; "yak yak yak..."

  31. I lived in Malibu for 12 months from 1981/2. My Mrs said 'Oh, Jan (her colleague) has asked if we want to go for Christmas dinner to hers'. I told her that would be fine & asked about Jan's other half. My Mrs said that he was a musician & was called Booker. My jaw dropped when she said that he was really famous & had made some 'hit records'. It was, indeed, Booker T & he was one of the nicest guys that I have ever met & I still can't believe that I shared a turkey with the maestro. Great memories. 5 months later & I was being arrested for being a wetback, Booker would've disowned me. 😲
