  2. If I remember, one of the reasons for delaying Lockdown, when many were calling for it, was that the general public would become weary of it and it would be difficult to maintain. Well it’s becoming increasingly obvious that it’s not the general public who are becoming weary but the MSM. (and Twitter)

  5. The efl are a disgrace, they don’t want to make the decision they are letting the clock run down because they know that the only option is to null and void this season, but are shit scared of being sued by clubs on the verge of promotion. On league 1 -12 or league 2 on zero it’s a no brainer, given the lower crowds, less money from the league and no guarantee we’d get promoted in league 2, I’ll take the -12 mile in league 1.

  8. Sorry, small compartment for dust etc, bit of an git to empty.. They are aimed at older people who struggle with heavy vacuums.. Pretty sure my gran had one and got rid for one of Undies £80 ones.. We've got a dyson v6 animal.. I hate it, lasts about 5 mins before it dies, and it's a pain to empty too, end up dragging dog hairs out of the chamber with a pen.. That gets used once a day. Wife wanted that one.. The Henry gets used once a week for a deep clean, the Sebo bs36 (big heavy thing), get's used occasionally but it's too heavy for a small house, its industrial grade. Best one i had was a vax pet upright, but it broke after 6 months. Got a friend who has been through 4 sharks in 2 years, takes them back each time under warranty.

  12. Surely winning an election grants you the privilege to use whichever advisors you see fit?? Campbell was a prick but it didn’t stop Blair. Surely a government needs advisors? After all, it’s not like ministers are ever experts in the field they are responsible for? Matt Hancock has hardly had to work his way there from junior doctor has he?

  15. TBF, Hoppy has stated that China have not lied, or withheld infomation, as proven by a 2011 document. So only the UK then. I fail to believe that any government, irregardless of its political leanings, would do anything not in its own countries best interests. Wether that is one led by Johnson or Corbyn or Starmer, or even Sturgeon or Foster. Their political ideologies may differ, so therefore their actions may differ, but it would always be in the best interests of the countries benefit, under circumstances such as these. The opposition have free reigh to be political about this, the government do not.

  17. Professional opinion? First thing is if you want a tub vacuum or an upright.. Shark - great but problems with build quality.. I've also seen then destroy loose carpets Henry - they are good, but they no longer have the German motor and so not as powerful as they once were.. Get a Turbo brush and it's a brilliant vacuum. I have one as a back up. Do not use them without a bag! Sebo - absolute brilliant, expensive but high quality, I use one of these and they are the vacuum of choice for carpet cleaners. Also very heavy Miele cat dog - won loads of awards. Dyson cordless - really powerful but small chamber for dust, also you have to make sure you proper clean it once in a while or it loses dust.

  23. I think that getting a reprieve albeit on -12 will galvanise the town and support, and fwiw this is what I think will happen, null n void, start again as u were. Really looking forward to it now. think prem is a different story, they’re desperate for the cash so will play it out even if it’s five-a-side every night for a week

  25. If the season is null and void and starts again from scratch with the same clubs I can’t see how we wouldn’t start on -12 Its a shit load better than starting in L2 on 0 that’s for sure Not sure what we would have to complain about in all honesty

  27. Hi Matt, see my post two hours earlier. Your not far out if you read it. My info comes from the president of The Armada Sur, which is a group of predominantly British fans who go to watch Tenerife every home game, and away game, if costs allow! There is normally two to three coaches that go from the South every home game, and Chris who formed the group, knows his stuff, he lives, eats and breaths CD Tenerife, bit like us with Bolton i suppose. Anyone who comes to Tenerife and fancies a live match, contact us!

  29. When I look back now 20 plus years on I find myself talking about Burnden with the fondness you might have for a grand parent or other relative that's passed on . It really was like losing a relative or close friend. The other thing I find quite Poignant about that video is seeing Kenneth Wolstenholme narrating and presenting it. Back in the early 2000's ( 2001 to be precise ) I was living and working in London and one evening jumped on the train up to White Hart Lane to watch us in the live monday night game - train was packed with lots of commuters and loads of spurs fans and it was standing room only - and after i forced my way on I noticed an elderly man stood not that far from me and realised it was Kenneth Wolstenholme . As we came to get off I managed to get over to him said hello and shook his hand - a few Spurs fans then realised who he was and word spread and people were queuing up to shake his hand as he left the station. He was 80 years old at the time , travelling alone at night across London to see his team , on a cold December night when by rights he could have stayed at home and watched it on the TV. Sadly he passed away 3 months later and that was possibly the last Bolton game he ever attended.
