  1. What we were suffering last summer was the worst football experience I've ever been through. Instead of getting empathy from Wigan supporters we got them taking fucking photos of themselves outside our ground revelling in our misery and at that time possible demise. When they sang Bolton's going bust at our place it was loud because it was all of them singing it not just a handful of them, all of them. So if it was any other club I'd agree with you but not Wigan.

  2. Amen. You reap what you sew. people claim there’s a silly ‘minority’ within the fan base of every football club. Sorry, it wasn’t the minority of those wankers who wanted us gone it was pretty much all of em. If the worst had come to the worst they would have lapped it up. Songs, flags the fucking lot. i have no sympathy for any fuckers who have made it their mission to hate us and revel in every negative result we have, any relegation, every news article. Some of them even tipped up taking the piss on that TV broadcast outside the ground. for all of that, fuck every single one of them and I sincerely hope the worst possible outcome is landed on their toes. Whatever that may be. If they don’t suffer in the same way we have and end up where we are If not worse I’ll be mightily pissed off

  3. I’d rather Bury survived than them cunts. They’re like a fly in your bedroom when you’re trying to get to sleep.

  4. Feel quite conflicted about the whole Wigan situation to be honest, I know exactly how their fans feel right now and I get a bit giddy laughing at them because they laughed at us, and I honestly fucking hate Wigan, their fans on social media and the ones I've met personally are generally a bunch of bellends. However, I can't say I'd want to see them go pop, I'd much rather pass them on the way up the leagues and give them a few thrashings. I won't lose any sleep if they do cease to exist but I think having Bury and Wigan disappear within a short timeframe would be an extremely worrying sign for North West all football clubs that aren't guaranteed PL football forever. All it takes is one bad owner and decades of history can be thrown into chaos. Long live Queen Shaz and her pile of money, that's all I can say.

  10. Yeah but those events to your distant family don’t still echo today on your life so you’re more likely to be followed by security around a shop, less likely to get a job etc etc if you were black they would

  12. PR Harper's wife was. Our local newspapers in the Thames Valley had reporters there. They all seem pretty disgusted. Driving a car down country lanes at breakneck speed with someone being dragged along for a mile while accumulating horrific injuries seems to me to be worthy of the highest punishments. That is not what has happened. PC Harper's wife is shocked. So is the local community. Of course I'm sure its all too complex for us all to collectively understand it and your superior intellect and wisdom gives you insights to which we mere mortals can only aspire.

  13. A lot of them are quite 'samey' to be honest, largely stemming back to the late 90s when the SPL insisted that all of the grounds needed to be 10,000+ all seaters, so the likes of Kilmarnock, St Mirren, Falkirk, Hamilton, Airdrie, Clyde, St Johnstone and Livingston have pretty much no redeeming features. Did Cowbenbeath in a monsoon and that was certainly no picnic. I only arrived half an hour in to the game because of problems with the trains and people were leaving the ground at that point to go back to the pub because they were piss wet through and couldn't see much of the pitch because of the stock car track! Easter Road and Tynecastle are both pretty special on derby day, and Hampden for a big game is like nowhere else in the UK. Ayr is a proper old school ground, as is Queen of the South (probably one of the biggest terraces left in the UK), with Dumfries being a good day out to boot. Motherwell is a weird one as the away end is fucking huge and towers over the rest of the ground, but the town itself makes Leigh look like Monte Carlo. Always fancied doing some of the smaller grounds - Arbroath, Brechin and Montrose in particular - but never really get round to it. Quite enjoyed Partick Thistle, if nothing else because it means going to a game in Glasgow with the usual baggage. I should have made more of when Hibs were in the Championship, but it was as we were reaching the end of the Eddie Davies days so duty called I suppose. Quite a few aspects are a bit of a throwback, even in the Prem though. No booze in the grounds so they're completely empty until pretty much 2.50pm, and I've yet to have a bad pie at any of the grounds.

  14. Some of them on that Latics Speak forum are in for one hell of a reality check any day now. Still talking about being a Championship sude next season, re signing out of contract players, holding onto some etc. Penny has dropped for one or two but they being called out as doom merchants. Will love it when reality bites. That train is coming down the tracks you scruffy set of Bolton hating scumbags

  20. Correct. Our multi cultural society is a result of our history. Thinking logically, it’s the racists who should be denouncing our past. It’s a mixed up, muddled up world, shook up world. (Lola)

  23. We all buy things from companies and corporations that will have questionable ethics. Even you will. we don’t know the inner workings of these businesses and never will. So unless you are living from an allotment in a far flung off grid corner of the world with no interaction with humanity then you will be buying from companies like this. That’s a fact mate. I have never said we don’t have issues relating to racism. I’ve seen as we all have examples of it on social media. We also have an issue of racism against white people from minorities I would say. But that gets no air time. As it’s not fashionable. We don’t have the scale of issues of America. We don’t live in America. So we should’nt be using their challenges as a blueprint for ours as they aren’t comparable. Not even close. sooner people realise this and stop virtue signaling (not you) then the better.

  24. The problem is that it almost doesn't matter how much work is done to combat racism - it's never ever going to be enough for people who set out their stall to manufacture it. The ranks of the perpetually offended and the militant liberals. The damage that's been done in tackling racism is in the hectoring, lecturing manner of the above. Reasonable people who do not have a racist bone in their bodies get annoyed and frustrated with it. We don't need to be repeatedly told what to think (please take note BBC).
