Total bollocks imo. That reads like the summary from a man that would have been happier if we’d drawn or lost.3 likes

Relieved at that. So many of those players are new/fairly new. A lot of talent there but no real team cohesion. It's understandable given the rapid player turnover and its a result of poor recruitment last Summer and (obviously) the previous situations. Hopefully from here onward we become more settled and build a side who get to know each other.2 likes

I'm glad some folk weren't alongside me in the trenches during the 1st Battle of Ypres... "I'm not going over the top, there's a nasty splinter on that ladder, and Lord Kitchener has been opening my letters from home..." 'Subservient wankers' - nah, just less self-centred folk, who believe in experts and the greater good not in baseless waffle from Dave or Karen off twatter and their 'common sense'.2 likes

There's nothing like them. I've had friends from school days who will always be best friends. BUT if they support a different team to me then they've not shared the ultimate highs and lows I've felt with 'football friends'. Yes, I've been to your wedding and vice-versa ... but were you there when Wilbraham scored that diving header? We are all a special bunch. We might not know much about one another's private lives. We might not even know each others' real names, but by fuck, when that game is on we are all the tightest knit family you could imagine. Thats why being a Bolton fan and also being a member of this forum is so ace. So many strangers become 'friends'. Good luck trying to explain this to someone outside of this circle, ie the missus.1 like

I don’t recall any home ones being early, but Bayern away was 6pm UK time and Plovdiv was 3.55pm UK time *Just realised it was the Marseille home game where I dropped my phone down the bog and got a can of shit beer from an away fan. The Atletico game was memorable for being on Valentines Day when my lad’s mum objected to me going to the game and I made the point that BWFC were there long before her and would still be there afterwards. And I was right!1 like

He’s probably been frustrated like we have but I think the guy with half decent players around him will come good, and tbf he digs deep 3 last minute equalisers he has something about him1 like

Why don't you both run away from home together? Both statements read like sommat off some fifteen year old kid's Instagram... I can only presume somebody making such a glib statement ('almost rather be dead...') has never personally been close to death.1 like

I don’t live in fear. I don’t stay inside. I’ve spent more time outside and read more books than I ever have. I and millions of others, across the world have had to change their lifestyle in ways they never would have expected. Some have actually died. Some have actually grieved. We are nearly there. A couple of months won’t make that much difference to people’s lives.1 like

For a division 2 side we’ve got some quality players in all departments. When it all comes together we’ll take some beating.Bring it on.1 like

I didn’t think Maddison did too bad today, I think the expectation exceeds his ability. He’s with us for a reason and I don’t just mean his so called attitude problems. The lad can see a pass, he’s talented, he’s not match fit and he can hit a dead ball. If Doyley doesn’t miss time his header his corner is perfect. For me today Thomason worked his bollocks off. Top top player1 like

We said this at ours, thought he did a good job today. Folk moaning already Madison being disappointing need to consider how many minutes he's played for us and the fact he isn't actually Diego fucking Maradona. There's a lot of our fans who seem to have a disconnect between the reality of where we are and where they think we are imo.1 like

Couldn’t give a fuck if they won the treble, grand National and Cheltenham gold cup, not interested in tip tap bollocks premier league football. Rather watch us play shit and scab a 1-0 win over the mighty Stevenage Borough. 😂1 like

A good mix from the ages would be good. Colin Hendry is local and would no doubt oblige, people like Campo, Holden, Gudni and Klasnic who often respond to twitter posts too. I'm sure the lads have their plans. It's a great start by them and to be honest, feels like a knitting together of the clubs support. I love seeing people pulling in the same direction for the good of the club1 like

Any chance of some post 1993 heroes for my generation? I'm glad the old timers on here have had their chance to quiz their heroes but come on now I want to grill Neil Fisher or Bryan Small1 like

People see what they want to see and some people are twisted. My girlfriend is a City season ticket holder and she says that some of the stuff she hears from folk at the match is unbelievable. Some football fans are fucking mad.1 like

‘Em’ Not sure who they are. The government, the NHS, the thousands of unpaid volunteers? If they’d missed it by the narrowest of margins, this forum would have been in meltdown. Having been jabbed, I have nothing but praise for the people involved in the process. From the yellow vested people marshalling the queue to the good lady giving the jab.1 like

Painful watch that. That Baptiste and Santos were vying for MoM against them says everything about it. Scoring too early seemed to cause us to get a bit too arrogant and think we could toy with them, as a consequence we got casual and sloppy and let a poor side back into it. All a bit too disjointed and shapeless, the expensive new parts weren't making the engine run any better and we were nowhere near as good as we were for an hour on Tues against a far better side Thomason, bless him, the only one in front of back four who covered himself in any glory, struggled a bit last 15 maybe but up to then tremendous performance. John is as decent as you'd hope at LB, good pace and quality Never a red for me, their lad had both feet off floor as he went in, Williams didn't and although his right foot looked a shade high it wasn't over the ball. He lacks pace though Williams, over short distances and that didn't help him. Not much else to say really, 3 points but pretty underwhelming 90 minutes1 like

If we hadn't been cheated midweek it would have been 3 on the bounce . New players bedding in and it's gonna take time , but unlike the beginning of the season we are picking up points.1 like

I go up once a week at least. In the 15 or so years I’ve been doing it, that was the second coldest I’ve ever known it. It’d make your udders the size of traffic cones that wind1 like

Nearest I've ever come to having a second team is when I managed Rushden & Diamonds on Championship Manager 4. I'd have died for any member of that squad, and the fans knew it.1 like
