  1. I cannot see us finishing outside of the playoffs now . Then it is a lottery. September and October we reached our lowest point footballing wise in our history. Andersons tenure was horrendous as was the opening day fixture 18 months ago when players refused to travel. I am comfortable in both the owners and the present management team and yes Evatt made some awful errors in the first few months of the season with obviously the goalkeeping situation and that awful system he played week in week out. The goalkeeping situation is not resolved but they are keeping this Jenson underwraps for a reason. This squad is only going to get better and if we dont go up this year i would take this team on the opening day of next season. Crowds will soon be back in the stadium and tonight i am beginning to think our climb back is well and truly underway.

  7. Best performance of the season so far. It's on as long as we keep our heads down and don't get beyond ourselves. Let's keep doing what we're now good at please

  9. I like Tutte and would happily have him in the Williams role if he got injured etc, but IE just doesn't seem to fancy him. Not sure why

  10. Proper rivals Blackburn unlike those pie-eating plastic cunts Too many great games against them to want them to disappear. Frank promotion. 4-3. Stu Holden. Fans may be dicks but they are no Wigan by any means

  19. Good first half, we’ve got goal scorers on the bench if we can get a quick second and let Sarce, Gnouha and Miller have a go it could get very interesting.

  23. Given that Lee is rested, its a big statement that Thomasson is preferred to Sarcevic. Would have been easy to put him back in then he would probably stay in. Good faith in GT.

  27. But over the last 20 games, which is a decent form indicator, especially as we have less than 20 to go, we're 7th in the table, just 4 pts shy of top. You can prove pretty much anything with stats.

  28. They are now, but they weren't earlier in the season. We've got the midfielders to do it now. Bearing in mind almost every team above us has at least a game in hand, yes I think we're in good shape to go up.

  29. I also think the idea is to be compact in the middle of the park, run the triangle passing, always have that option to have someone who can turn out, and also someone to receive the ball forward facing. That’s how you manage the midfield and when the ball is lost, the midfield doesn’t get overran. That’s why you will see Williams get himself about all across that middle third, he’s anticipating where their striker/10 is going to pick the ball. If we commit forward we have a breakdown man, Mansfield’s second goal was this, he mistimed his tackle though and they scored. IE isn’t just naming an XI and expecting to pick up a result, there is real methodical coaching in his play and he’s now getting the players he want Every player even the keeper can play small intricate passes, I’ve seen people say I wish we wouldn’t mess about with it at the back, when this happening , two midfielders will be moving into space or showing for the ball, drawing their forwards into our 3rd leaving spaces. I have full faith in IE and getting us up the table, slowly slowly catchy monkey

  30. Try a little joey landreth, still feel gone is a great song, as is whiskey. Some good versions on't youtube. Jacob bryant is good, pour whiskey on my grave is a particular favourite. John Hiatt, though you have to pick your tracks, some are phenomenal some a bit middling. Chris stapleton has done lots of great stuff and has one hell of a voice. Greg Allman live back to macon ga is a great live album. Anything acoustic by warren haynes is always worth a listen john mayer does a lot of bluesy / country stuff. the great lucinda williams is a must listen also Hopefully it should keep you entertained for a while....

  32. Id rather spend the week held hostage being tortured by ISIS terrorists than go camping. Why anyone would pay actual money to be in a worse predicament than your actual real life is beyond me. All that pissing about to sleep in some woods and piss about trying nourish yourself with minature pots and pans. Fuck right off. Pay someome to cook and bring your food to you. Camping is not a holiday. Its an optional struggle.

  33. Last few days I’ve noticed something with Wanderers. we start with the back four fairly deep with the DM sitting the wingers tuck in, Doyle is further back and there is a ball to be played over the top. around the seventy minute mark, our shape has changed, the line moves up, the wide men almost go in a forward 3 with Doyle the number 10 drops into the hole and we run hard and hassle them, press high up the pitch, it’s a change in tactic and the reason we score late goals. I think IE has signed fit players, with a high endurance, so the 70 mins come we run hard when the other teams are tiring. The other day four of our players went and got energy snacks at 65 mins, this is to give them that little burst. Be hard to beat in the first, tire them out, then run teams hard YHIHF

  41. We have to play Cambridge and have a game in hand. Win them both and we're within 5 points of them. Carlisle, again we have to play, and they've got a very intense period of games. Teams above us have games against each other, and the some of the teams that started well have tailed off, Colchester and Newport for example. I think top spot, and maybe even second may be a bit too far, but third is there for taking- all down to how well we perform.
