Instead of thinking about this year’s direct debit as for a season ticket, which I can’t use, for me I just see it as a contribution to keep the club going until we can get back in the ground (at which point I’ll be paying for a season ticket). I know I’m in a lucky position where I can spare the 40 odd quid a month, but currently watching Bolton - even on a screen - is one of the few things that gives me any entertainment through the week, and getting back to games is one of the things that I’m most looking forward to. So if giving an effective charitable contribution for a year props the club up and means that it is possible, and there’s a club there on the other side to go and watch (and even better one that is doing well), then that will do for me.5 likes

That’s like saying people talking about hughmungus being an enormous knob is a positive. Sometimes it’s not all good.3 likes

It’s a point we would’ve taken prior to the game. Absolutely delighted with the performance, some passages in that second half. a lot to be happy with.3 likes

Couldn't face reading every page so just clicked on a few and wished I hadn't. Surely today marked us out as proper automatic contenders; the fight, the togetherness, the intent were all there and we easily matched the other form team of the minute in our league. Others at our house disagreed vehemently with me but I thought Isgrove was had a good game - here, there, and everywhere, hungry and looking to create. Reading some of the posts you'd think we'd moved into the bottom 3 and were a third of a season away from park football.2 likes

So many head to heads still to be played, there's a third of the season left for a lot of clubs. Having seen that today, does anyone fear going to FGR or Salford or worry about to play Exeter or Cambridge? Sure as hell I don't worry. Bring em on. I'm more confident now than I ever have been, we'll be top 3 by the end of the season2 likes

Wasn't just the shot stop, but also the way he made sure it didn't go to their lad running in Nervy ending ahead now!2 likes

Stop being a fanny 😁 It's been poor all season TBH. Decision making and/or execution The defence looks tight, the midfield solid, this is the final piece of the jigsaw for me & the only thing stopping us "humping" someone2 likes

Sadly, Humungous is back trying to pretend he’s a Bolton fan. Fuck off back to Wigan, you have a lot more to worry about over there.2 likes

9/2 with 14 games left, if we keep up this current form we will piss it, looking at our squad cannot see us not keeping up current form, think we’re a league 1 team in league 2.1 like

158 deaths is awful. But a 45% reduction in 7 days is worthy. The stat I really like, was that only 100 people of 70 and over caught it last week. In total.1 like

Enjoyed it. Made the mistake of watching it with the nipper. She loved it. And she heard me use a naughty word at 93 minutes so she's already planning the next one1 like

Feeling deflated in my heart, we played well and deserved to win. I need to listen to my head, I’d have taken a draw at the start of play, another match unbeaten, we’re looking good at last, and being this disappointed at a draw is testament how far we have come since the beginning of the year. We still have loads more points earned after 90 minutes than lost, let’s get some perspective. Back on it Tuesday with the next 3 games all winnable.1 like

I Don't post on the footy threads as much as I don't consider myself very knowledgeable on the leagues and tactics side of things, just love our club and watching our team. However, just piss off with your bullshit man, it's somewhat tiresome!!!1 like

It can't give you COVID again if that's what you mean. He might well have the usual side effects - but I'm pretty sure he's exaggerating if he's saying it's the worst he's ever felt. Either that or he's picked something else up around the same time and is attributing how he's feeling to the vaccine.1 like

I agree. But I would say our promotion (top 3) challenge ends if we lose the next 2. We'd still have the play offs to go for even if that happens, but let's not make dropping points a habit again.1 like

Wish i was there now - in a pub deep into Bandit country, 4th pint sliding down nicely, someone starts a bit of a sing song. Nodding and chatting to Wanderers fans you've either known for a long time or you recognise from previous away games. If you don't overdo the ale, the anticipation starts from about 2pm. Get to the ground for 2.30 ish for a quick pint, sink that in 15 mins, make your way to your seat and the away end is already in fine voice. COYWM. I miss going to aways like this1 like

Great song that. And I agree, they have always been chilled easy going lads in anything I've ever seen of them. Never done a bad album either, solo stuff included. Anyway, the Prins Thomas re-edit is great, and makes for a beltin driving tune.1 like

Personally, I'd have sent a cheque for £1,000 to all front line NHS staff, tax free. It wouldn't be engrained as salary, not pensionable and would be a way of saying thanks for this time.1 like

Lots of Bolton fans living over here in Wigan Micky, it makes their plight even sweeter somehow. I love taking my dog for a walk in Haigh with my BWFC bob hat on, especially after we've won and they've lost, it winds them up no end.1 like

They judged it on what was perceived after 10 minutes; £12bn and poor results. I read recently that it had saved thousands of lives, having tracked and traced 600,000 people. I suppose it’s easier not to think for yourself, easier to criticise.1 like
