  1. You need to work on the 'intelligent'. So far you have posted opinions that people have disagreed with and then you have sulked. Out of interest how old are you ? I am mid 50s and not trying to groom you.

  2. My Mam said it best don’t let your race define you, define your race. Life is full of stumbling blocks, don’t create more because you think you’re not allowed the same opportunities

  3. Pretty much the same as me. We had very little growing up but what we did have was enough. Left school at 16 and moved around the country to find decent work from 17. Now I'm settled in lovely area that can be a great starting block for my daughter growing up. In the UK No-one is stopping you from changing your own life.

  4. 100% Spot on, think your family have a greater influence on what you achieve in life. I’m council house from working class and just wanted a better life, wasn’t interesting in going to uni, so took apprenticeship in something I wasn't particularly interested in but at the time jobs were at a premium, passed apprenticeship, soon after recession and redundancy, took a job in a textile warehouse and worked myself up from there, travelled overseas many times with work, now live in nice area and have reasonably nice lifestyle, anyhow I put that down to my parents who I think brought me up to row my own boat and instilled the right work ethos and were good role models, many kids aren’t lucky enough to have that in life, that for me is the biggest factor at play.

  11. What would you personally do with a huge guy who is foaming at the mouth ? I actually wouldn't go anywhere near him, was bad enough seeing Ani foaming at the gob once before he allegedly hijacked a roadsweeper whilst wearing an Asda suit jacket.

  12. Who cares if Sheikh Mahdikatkids has rode in to save the day..? I didn't give a shit when they scabbed the F.A. Cup. I didn't give a shit when they besmirched Sir Nat's statue with their shitrag. When they 'took' Bolton Town Centre... Insh'Allah we switch places this summer and our paths never cross again. If, in future, they go to the wall or conversely get bankrolled back to the Premier, even qualify for Europe - I'd still be more interested in the contents of my handkerchief the last time I'd blown my nose ( © Curtis/Elton). No history cunts who desperately want to foster a rivalry with us. It isn't there. Don't indulge them. An irrelevance. Now Welsby's mob, however...

  13. Can highly recommend @1969 for all your window requirements. His handiwork today even made my wife smile. Some going, that. Cheers M

  14. That’s fair enough Rudy but some of your longer posters seem to feel that it’s necessary to insult and ridicule others opinions. Personally it bothers me not one bit but surely just entering into discussion instead would be more sensible. The whole purpose of this and other forums is to share opinions. It doesn’t need ignorant individuals trying to sound clever just because they’ve been on here longer. I’ve been a Wanderers fan for nearly 60 years and think I’m entitled to a view but that doesn’t mean it’s more relevant or important than anyone who’s new to the Whites. Let’s just keep it civil if you disagree.

  16. It's certainly tight down at the bottom, it would be just splendid if we passed them on the way up/down I still can't see why anybody would want to buy WIgan, I really can't. I can see it all ending in tears, once they realise this arab bloke doesn't have any money (fingers crossed)

  22. he really is full of it. Rest 2 of our best players in recent games change a winning team to give fringe players a chance? You would almost think he doesnt want to win the game. I think we should be unchanged, Thomason included but if IE sees someone (Lee) needs resting that's fair enough he knows players and we do have 2 games in quick succession but i doubt he will be changing much or throwing squad players in from the start

  25. I agree. I was one of them. My point all along has been that the situation you find yourself born into has far more influence on your outcomes than the colour of your skin. Like the report says, social class is a huge driver. I also think it was interesting that one of its conclusions is that consistently making out that things are worse than they are, risks alienating the middle ground.
