  8. The way the Government are treating pubs, it makes you think they want them to shut down. Pubs are putting marquees and large gazebos up in the car parks, thats just defeating the whole object, and you got to go inside to use the fucking toilet. Has Bojo stated 21st June everything back to normal ? Does this vaccine actually work ? Because wearing a mask, possible vaccine passports and the like seem to be saying the opposite, we don't have a flu vaccine passport. This is how it feels like at the moment, sleep, work, sleep, work, Netflix, sleep, work, Boris on TV "stick

  9. Got nothing to do with not being able to isolate. If you've been diagnosed with covid, then you go off sick. In reality, how many firms don't pay anything during sick leave? May be a bit different when t and t contact you and ask you to stay inside because you've been in contact with a positive case. Even then, many folk have been able to work from home. Way to easy to just lump everyone into the poverty bracket.

  12. Really? To be honest Ru, I don’t think there are any hard games for us if we play to our strengths. Certainly the top teams who need to win and will come at us should be the ones we’re most likely to beat, just based on the fact we have better players than they do. I’m entirely confident.

  14. Yeah - but the type of bullying that nobody can see because it's so subtle (or maybe isn't actually happening apart from in someone's head). It's all worrying the shit out of me at the moment TBH. Tell a generation of kids that they're oppressed and growing up in a system which is inherently stacked against them and it's no wonder shit happens like at this school. Then there will be a resistance and an alienation of 'the middle ground' as that report puts it. And pretty soon the middle ground will start to defend its own interests and then that will lead to a society which really is

  17. At 12.59 today, we were fourth. Every team played and at 5pm we were third. It's irrelevant what time we kicked off etc, we gained a point more than 5 others in the top 8 and fell 2pts further behind the top 2. It doesn't matter how you get the points and where you get them from, but as long as after 46 games, we've got more than at least 21 others, we'll be fine. Up the fucking Whites.

  19. This is probably the first time since BSA left that I've not had that unrealistic desire in the back of my mind, wishing that we still had Allardyce managing us. Disclaimer: I'm not saying Evatt is a better manager than BSA or that we ever had any chance of getting Sam back after he left. Just feels like a new direction for the club and that the nostalgia for the 00-07 years isn't as painful anymore because FV have given the club a breath of fresh air. I'm excited to see how this journey progresses because it actually feels like the start of one rather than the helpless spiral
