  1. He admitted he got the team wrong and he said it was changed at half-time to put it right. He also said that he expected them to come out quickly at us, that doesn't imply parking the bus.

  2. Went to stay with my best mate in Solihull this weekend. He was there that day. He’s never got over it. He’s no grief junkie Like he said (with no malice intended as he follows BWFC’s fortunes because of me) if the Burnden disaster had happened in the TV or social media era we would have been in the same situation. Accusations of pissed up fans jibbing in over the back of the embankment and turnstiles and a backlash from us that was then maybe being seen as wallowing in grief. Who knows? But anyway, yeah it’s time to move on. They got their justice but will always feel for the families of the innocent who did nowt wrong but never came home

  3. I know we like to joke about scousers being grief monkeys but those that died and their families rightly deserved justice. Children, women and men died through no fault of their own in a horrific way. No matter your views on how or why it happened, those at the front who died and were injured were treated appallingly by the police, the media, and until recently, the justice system. However, now justice has taken place, it is right to be disbanded.

  4. Fair play to them. Turned the narrative around and brought legal action against some of those culpable. A remarkable achievement and victory for the little guy. Feels right to move on now though. RIP the 96.

  5. If I’d managed 10 pints it would be by virtue of having a bag in my pocket so there would be no burger I assure you 😁And no bag would see me likely arrested by about 7 pints for being a nuisance. So again no burger 😎

  7. It is good that we have the choice though that’s the main thing. It’s a huge step forward from what we have now and for those that are that way inclined it’s great.

  9. Look at Chile... successful vacc programme but infection and deaths are now rising, they lifted their travel restrictions and they are on the Brazilian border. Israel has a similar vacc rate but has kept it tight with Vacc cards and their infection rate is still down.

  12. One of the big things yesterday is that despite going a goal down we turned it round. Cambridge chase the game and ship 4 . It is strange what pressure does to a team.

  13. I still drop my jaw when I see that fckg supermarket !! I once, post Bruce's promotion to the Premiership, at a celebratory dinner in the Town Hall, was sat at a table with the no-tail council planning employee who gave that aberration the green light. My brother said she was very touchy about it & to avoid the subject. F'cough. I got into it very early on. She left the table all huffy. Someone said I'd upset her. "Good .... nowhere near as much as she upset me !".

  14. Khan made a twat out of himself in his last fight but he's not really had a history of ducking fighters who'd likely twat him, has he?

  15. His workrate is exceptional, he’s not the best technician but he always puts a graft in. A few weeks ago Evatt signalled to him, get the ball give inside, sprint to the touch line. He listened straight away and it almost paid off. He’s grown on me massively

  20. We beat Salford and we’re 1 point behind Cambridge. They’ve been smashed 4-1 at home today, think we’ve slightly easier run in as well, fancy us to finish above Cambridge & Tranmere.

  22. Definitely didn’t expect them to come out of the blocks quite as quickly as they did. I don’t think the team did, despite his after match comment that they were warned. It’s easy to claim with 20/20 hindsight.

  24. You are right. But I suppose every game (which is bloody brilliant as a fan) has massive repercussions on how our season finishes now. I’m thinking positively, in that when we retrospectively look back at results at the end of the season, the draws/wins we get in these last 7 to get us to promotion, started today with these massive 3 points. Had we not got them it may not have laid the foundation to set our stall out for automatic promotion. THE WHITES ARE GOING UP 👏

  27. Yep. Properly thought through and intelligent. I have to say Jacob Rees-Mogg and other "gammons" would not disagree with a single word. They are both democrats. They are both respectful of freedom of speech and expression. Wokeists are absloutely not and the more they are called out for their rank intolerance the better.
