  1. With a bit of luck ... the Glazers see their arses & decide it's simply not worth bothering. They make it known that the club's for sale. A consortium fronted by 'the Class of 92' takes over. It a turns out to be a bit more difficult than they realise & become perennial strugglers. Meanwhile 'The 92' forget all about Salford, they slither down to the North Manchester Wednesday Afternoon level before folding & being a minor hicough in the history books.

  2. Sam worked with us the other year on a relatives of Joe Royle. Fucker accidentally dropped my Estwing down the cavity from roof height when I tossed it to him......no wonder Allardyce got shut 😆 🤣

  7. Don’t agree with that Zico, I think most of the games have been incredibly entertaining and certainly more so than anything we saw under Parkinson. Some of our football has been exceptional and if we’d been able finish we’d have benefitted more from it. I agree the 1-0 results have at times been both frustrating and worrying but defending is just as much a part of the game as attacking and I think we’ve done both well given where we were at the end of the year. I actually think we’ll surprise on Saturday and win well at Morecambe. Being more of a footballing team should suit us better than being battered aerially and I think on that basis we’re the best by far in this league. Bring it on, can’t wait.

  8. We did Mick Herron the "Slough House" the other day... better written than the earlier Mick Herron IMO. The Spy & The Traitor by Ben Macintyre is a crackin' read. My year included "V2" by Robert Harris, good historical novel but not up there with "Munich" Also William Ryan's the "12th Department", pretty bloody like the others in the series. An interesting little read (you can do it in one sitting) must be "The Order of The Day" by Eric Vuillard covering the diplomatic build up to WW2 Cheer Up Peter Reid.. I must admit to scan reading most of the Everton stuff but enjoyed his account of laying into Boris Johnson when managing a charity game
