  2. But it already did. Happen that is. If you're Palestinian, you've seen what was your homeland reduced to 2 small sections and continue to be reduced in size. At the same time, you've seen new estates built on land that your family owned, built in breach of UN regulations and which deny running water to your home at the same time as dumping their raw sewage on you. Who, in that situation whether Palestinians, Irish Catholics, Native Americans, black South Africans etc would meekly accept it? Would you? It doesn't excuse Arabs chucking rockets at Israel and it certainly doesn't excuse Israel for levelling buildings and killing increasing numbers of children but its a little more complex than 'Hamas started it' and you know this.

  3. Why does anyone on here even respond to Mick Brown, just leave the leftie Corbyn freak to tend to his allotment - I'm sure that he's got fruit & veg to grow. He's just an attention seeking nobody, he's possibly one of those people who is probably laughing to himself after typing every post trying to wind people up, just fcuking ignore him and leave him to argue with himself in his garden shed.

  20. Couple of his posts from this thread "They don’t live in peace with their own, they would never live in peace with the Jews even if the Jews weren’t given Israel, they are a bunch of backward, inbred, war mongering murdering scum bags. How anyone can support them is beyond me". " Fuck them, I’d back Israel all day long". I've seen more balance in folk who've smoked a gram of spice.

  21. I don't think there was anything inaccurate in what Mounts said. Purely in the context of what kicked off the violence in this latest chapter of the problems in that part of the world he's right. I'm sure Mounts could very easily talk about both perspectives if looking at the issue as a whole through history and recognise that neither has even close to a perfect track record. Go outside - enjoy the lilacs and the wisteria and breathe in the fresh air of a country free of the EU, with a Conservative majority of 80+ and Bolton Wanderers on the march again. Progress has indeed been made. And in answer to your question - no, not in the least bit tired. Oh aye - I would request you don't give woke a capital w. It doesn't warrant it.

  22. My rather odd list of transgressions - including cancel-culture, democracy-denying etc. The very same transgressions that have led people to desert the Labour party in their droves. You obviously don't recognise these as undesirable things in a democracy. Did you see the tweet I shared featuring your hero Tony Blair saying pretty much the same type of thing? Mounts did not give an unbalanced view. He simply pointed out that people are firing rockets at Israeli targets and Israel has not unnaturally chosen to defend itself. I suspect you read newspapers that portray things differently however.

  24. Took the shine off it for me, I don't usually get involved in other countries politics but this is a case of another 2 thick as pigshit footballers thinking they are on a moral crusade and using Leicester City's great win as a platform, total shithouses, gas chamber for the pair of 'em

  29. Regardless of history the Hamas policy of bombing Israel isn’t working firstly it provokes retaliation from Israel and that leads to more innocent Palestinians killed and secondly it means Israel grab more land to protect their people, diplomacy is the best way to try to end this.

  30. Have the FA condemned the overt political support for Palestine on the pitch after the final whistle? Genuine question.

  31. The FA have condemned the booing of players taking the knee. Sounds like the FA can’t handle football supporters also having an opinion.

  32. I’m talking about chucking rockets, Israel does not start it, Hamas chucking rockets ain’t working, perhaps they should try another tack, engage support from the western world, denounce violence and seek a negotiated settlement, sadly they wont do that as they have in their constitution the extermination of Israel as a main aim. Sadly they won’t do that and they’ll just just continue to get their arses kicked.

  37. Me to mate. I've been to quite a few Leicester games, mostly when they were in League One and the Championship. My Mrs had a season ticket for years when we lived over that way. Travelled to Leicester for the last game of the season when they won the title. The whole City was in party mode, packed everywhere. Fantastically run club.

  38. Shrewsbury had a pretty underwhelming season, wouldn't read into Vela being their POTY too much. Fair play to him having a good season but aside from that backheel assist to Clough I never rated him too much. This final has been shite so far
