  1. I think it helps you get a better signal when you're at the ground. I downloaded it and it seems quite unobtrusive.
  2. No go on.... It's been bugging me for 20 minutes!
  3. Yeah Guimaraes. I've never needed a piss as badly as on the way from Porto to the ground on that train. All goes to pieces after that apart from remembering singing Axel F with Vaz Te on the end after he'd scored.
  4. Anfield when we won two nil. A little bit too young to go on my own at 13 - but lived and breathed every second of it on the radio. I don't think I've ever been as happy with a Wanderers result and it all happened while I was in my front room!
  5. I'd be very happy with that. Can't see it mind. But who knows?
  6. I've liked that Pilkington when I've seen him. Been a long time since Chungy has imposed himself on a game. Might work out well all round.
  7. Not really. It's not quite as friendly as the countries to the North, but we didn't have any massive problems.
  8. That was a good clue actually! I was trying to convince myself you could spell temerity without the first e.
  9. But apart from all those things - Booooo eh?
  10. Couldn't get it so I've googled it and I've still never heard of it! :-)
  11. I once had a pint in a roadhouse in a place called Barrow Creek in the Northern Territory in Australia. I went for a piss and on the door of the bogs somebody had drawn a gun and written 'home of the mad gunman 2001'. I asked what it was all about and was told I was in the place Joanne Lee's had been brought to after a trucker picked her up following the Peter Falconio shooting. Middle of fucking nowhere!
  12. Didn't it work out about 2.25 Inc add ons?
  13. Right then. There are only four English words which end in 'dous'.
  14. No I'm sorry it's Rookkeeper as in 'one who keeps rooks'.
  15. Here's another one. There is only one word in the English language with 3 consecutive double letters (well there's two words actually but they're almost identical).
  16. Correct for ten points! You are the Wanderers Ways Wordsmith. I've just realised there's also 'nooooo' for when something's really bad. And 'booooo' of course.
  17. Still - you can't truly call yourself a clubber till you've spent a night at Bounce by the Ounce. Frightening! :-)
  18. Ha ha - there's a fair few gurners on there. Did you ever go here? Funky Monkey at the West Indian Centre. Was great while it lasted. Fair few Wanderers ST holders in this video and also a very young NotInCrawley!
  19. It can be quite 'uppy' in small doses. Ket I mean, not barbs! :-)
  20. There's only one word in the English language which has 5 consecutive vowels....
  21. There's a bloke I used to know who was into his Northern Soul, we used to talk all the time about various all nighters we had been to. Him to Northern Soul and me to House and Trance nights. I reckon but for a few decades, we'd have been going on these nights together as it always seems a similar feel. Anyway one time we got onto the subject of drugs, and he told me tgat they used to eat barb butties. Basically barbiturates on a slice of bread to take the taste away. Sounds fucking vile and I've never heard anybody mention it since. Anybody from that era ever consumed such a sandwich?
  22. Why are women called flatdicks? I've never got that one - it just sounds right somehow? Anyway, having a thirst for knowledge I googled 'why are women called flatdicks' and lo and behold, who should come up top of the rankings but....... http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/topic/30481-flatdicks-car-insurance/
