Joe won his tour card today mate.Beat Lernbacher in the final hitting a 161 checkout.Would have got it on points earned over the 4 days but did it in style.Saw every game he played today and played awesome all day.Hit 133,130 and 116 checkouts.

Won his 4th PDC Challenge Tour event today of the season out of 18 to finish top of the Challenge Tour rankings.Went to the last event to decide it.This means he gets 2 year PDC Card,all entries paid for the first season.Also gets entry to Grand Slam of World Darts in Wolverhampton and World Championships at Ally Pally.Great effort by him.Hopefully the springboard to get into top 32.Great dart player and genuine top lad.

Just got back from there on Sunday after 13 days in Sharm. No bother when we were there.Talking to few locals and they hate that Morsi fella with a passion.Great country and locals very friendly.Sham really.

Off to Egypt in 3 weeks for 13 days. Priced up car parking at Man airport £50-£60. Looking to get a taxi door to door to Manchester Airport from Bromley Cross area and back again.. Anyone know of any taxi companies that do specialised airport taxi runs and possible costs as tryng to way up which option is easier/cost effective? Thanks in advance.

He is from Kent originally and moved to Bolton to be with his gf who is Bolton born and bred.He is a Man U fan like Jay said and his gf a big Wanderers fan. Went to support him at challenge tour at Wigan 2 montgs agowhere there were 2 events.Won 7 games to win first and then got to final in second event and lost in deciding leg. Last year was massive learning curve.He is only 24 and playing against experienced players who have been in the game for 10 or more years.This year he has made great progress moving up the rankings.2 years ago he was in bdo and PDC is another level again.He qualified for 5 out of the 7 European tour events so far this year.Will get £3600 for the 9 darter as long no one does the same tomorrow.

Know a lot on here are darts fans.Mention for my mate who lives in Bolton and plays in PDC.Only 24 and currently 68th in the world rankings.Got to qf of world champs at lakeside couple of years ago beating Tony O'Shea along the way.Also top of challenge tour (youth) at the moment and with only 6 tour events left if he is still top at the end gets a place in grand slam and world champs at ally pally this year.Played recently at Reebok in UK Open and narrowly got beat 9-7 by Jelle Klaassen.Beat Gary Anderson recently in Austria. Beat Andy Smith yesterday in Gibraltar with 102 average and plays Adrian Lewis tonight for place in last 16.Not only a great dart player as will only get better with his age and more experience but a genuine top lad.Also worth a follow through his twitter RossSmith180.

Didn't same happen to Per Frandsen or did i imagine that. He left club and didn't get a new contract. Fans only found out after he left the club so couldn't give him a send off last game of season.

Lad at work told me today that Appleton went into dressing room after Burnley game and was so angry he offered all the players out.

Mate said he is on gardening leave and still getting paid by the club. Not the case surely?
