I’ve noticed that at corners Santos just positions himself in the same crowded part of the penalty area & jumps from a standing start. Why doesn’t he try making a late run from the corner of the edge of the box? Mix it up a bit ffs, because he doesn’t get much joy doing what he always does.

Just the 2 Toal efforts. It’s just not good enough against a piss poor team.

Apart from the odd exception our players play like they’re scared most of the time.

Disappointed is an understatement. We’ve just been beaten in 2 local derbies against 2 very average teams, without laying a glove on either of them - that’s just not good enough.

From the kick off the ref insisted it be re-taken, his stall was set. The penalty annoyed me - 2 players going for the ball collide in the air, 99% of the time a free kick is awarded to the keeper, but this prick wanted to be different and awarded Wycombe a spot kick, from which they scored in the 8th minute of the 6 mins of added time. I may be paranoid, but i’m convinced most referees fucking hate BWFC and will cock us up any chance they get. I’m really not keen on the officials at this level.

Blackpool made 8 changes from their league game on Saturday as did Bolton. It was was pretty much Blackpool reserves V Bolton reserves, so not much to take from that.

Watching on ifollow last night, our fans were really loud in the first 20/30mins or so, then seemed to go quiet. Last 20 mins of the 2nd half it seemed to be the Blackpool fans who were making all the noise. The “Smashy & Nicey” Blackpool commentators were absolutely shite, they were creaming themselves over Jerome & Bod though.

Our support was great especially 1st half. It seemed to be mainly the “Dacres Cogley, putting on a show” song, which wasn’t the best choice all things considered.

Charles movement to lose his marker for our goal was quality. We can go out with our heads held high and it’s perhaps a blessing that we’re out of this cup. Just BSM winners and Lg1 Champions it is then.
