  1. Just read DF article and he really is a fucking idiot its been blatantly obvious that he has perserved with a cunning plan devised on some Italian jaunt 5 years ago, then purchased players who cannot play to that cunning plan. If he is not sacked I hope he has the bollocks to see this basic style/formation through because its going to take another 10 games for the players to get the shit that he has preached for the last 2 years out of their system.
  2. The club seems to be tearing itself up we have been in self destruct mode for about 5 years. 9 out of 10 decisions made by the club are wrong, there is a leadership vacuum from top to bottom of the club, we are drifting aimlessly towards the ice berg. Gartside has served his time as has Freedman, Eddie Davies does not seem interested any more, the fans need something, someone to believe in and unite behind, currently there are lots of massive negatives coming out of the club and these are gaining momentum, surely somebody somewhere has to take responsibility and take a bold and positive action otherwise it is a death by 1000 cuts and there is no Nat Lofthouse to rally the fans this time, this is becoming a dangerous situation and one I believe could threaten the clubs existence as we all know it.
  3. Did anyone here the Norwich manager this morning on talk sport? He basically said that he'd signed players with a style of play in mind that style was pressuring the opposition and playing at a high tempo now that's the opposite to DF philosophy for the coaches out there is there another manager anywhere in the UK who plays the style of football DF preaches? For the life of me can't say I've seen any who preach the DF way.
  4. Maybe he's keeping his powder dry until the next manager comes in.
  5. Can't see 15 k being a problem when we're paying some players more than that every week, more likely a dispute on the job.
  6. Never mind Beagrie a fucking Beagle could do a better job.
  7. Just checked my original post about DF back in October 2012, fuck me I got it spot on. Unfortunately. And my 2 picks to be our manager were Holloway and McCarthy. If Eddie Davies wants some advice I am available and wouldnt charge for it because I love BWFC unlike fat boy slim.
  8. I'd love him to turn it round but I can't believe anyone is still left that thinks he will ever make a half decent manager in fact he's the 2nd worse we've ever had.
  9. Think Holloway might be on a short list and I'd take him as a direct opposite playing style and personality to Freedman.
  10. Good I don't want DF spending any money that a new manager might need to spend.
  11. Reportedly there was a long meeting after the game on Saturday between Brett Warburton, ED and PG, obviously the managers position would have been discussed and the outcome was DF will be in place on Wednesday, no other comments came form that meeting, I have a hunch that were looking at a replacement and that DF will be replaced as soon as we have identified the man to replace him.
  12. Can't see any positive result I'm trying to be positive but the players looked bottomed out Saturday and this could get messy 3-4-0
  13. He'd crawl over broken glass to manage Bolton, who you kidding. ????
  14. I'd be disappointed if we appointed Hill as manager at the moment he's no where near got a good enough record or experience at the required level in fact I think he could be a 1 club manager a bit similar to Coleman at Accy.
  15. That'd be up to Eddie Davies, he might decide there's no option but to start to spend and pay a fine to get a top manager in I know it's not likely but he might decide that this course of action might be the lesser of 2 evils.
  16. I wouldn't write off our chances of a good manager just yet it depends on Eddies decision whether to open his wallet or not. I could seeing him deciding to give it one last shot at a top manager.
  17. Any one know if it's on live feed?
  18. Seriously though a top manager would sort this mess out in no time it's time to open Eddies wallet and aim for the stars the alternative is not worth thinking about. The right appointment would immediately get fans and players singing from the same hymn sheet, come on Eddie last throw of dice you know it makes sense. And you could pay for a top manager by sending back 3 of the dross DF has brought in on loan.
  19. Decent manager Browny don't get the negativity towards him from some Bolton fans might be because he's a serial shagger and the fat old WWers are jealous. ????
  20. Should have potted Coyle earlier we could have then gone for Steve Bruce, now I'd go for Malky Mackay as I doubt Moyes is available. Reason being we need a good experience manager with a big strong personality in my life time that type always been successful at Bolton, Greaves, Rioch and Sam all cut from that cloth.
  21. I've no problem with DF making a decision on players over academy staff, end of the day it's his neck on the line and it's not as though there is a world beater being ignored from the academy and none who've left are pulling up trees.
  22. Another thing irritating me is DF claim that he's planning 3 games ahead if that's the case is it possible he might not be concentrating fully on the game in hand, it doesn't impress me and from what I can see isnt helping with results concentrate on one game at a time Douglas because you might not be here in 3.
