  1. United away when we beat them 2-1 is my memory of the game when this tune was out supping in Stretford.
  2. Damon Alborn never came near to Ian Dury, listen to the album New Boots and Panties, a classic from 77
  3. They live in the stone age, and yet it's a belting place to visit.
  4. They have theft tags on turnips now in Tesco .
  5. I felt sad hearing the news, I loved his superb knowledge of stats. I managed to have a chat with him at Blackpool when we played them in the FA cup in 89 and he was such an easy going bloke.
  6. I went both the home and away games against Southend in those ties in the League Cup. Went to Brighton in a league game two days before I went to Southend away and never saw the sea at both resorts that weekend.

  10. Yeah, lets talk about our youth and seeing girls in mini skirts and hot pants in the pubs when we never give a fuck what was going on.😀
  11. Most self sufficient country going at one time, just a laughing stock now.
  12. How could importing coal from half way across the world to these shores be cheaper ? Unless you get folk in power with a vested interest with shares at a company employing cheap labour at those places.
  13. I worked with an Aussie girl in Newquay nearly 50 years ago and said she was so confused with the so many different UK accents and said everyone in Australia speaks the same.
  14. Utter tripe, after the strike ended the tories started closing the most militant mines, and the ones remaining had money chucked at them so it made those look unproductive and closed them. Those scab pits in Notts who thought they would be safe all went down the road just the same.
