  1. On about the last show together on R1, when they went there seperate ways in 2004.
  2. Thanks for Hughsey and CWP for reminding me how good these two were on the " Blur " thread. Just had a good two hours on youtube listening to the hapless warriors. Got my son to have a listen, and he couldnt believe it used to be on in the afternoon. A very funny pair what will never be replaced. I think R1 lost out in the long run.
  3. Carrying on from the original thread, i went on a non league wankerthon in Leicester, meeting like minded lads who like football, drinking and wanking.
  4. First time ive not been up Barrow in yonks, and they sell out. I will try your option Smiffs, i will get in so what it takes.
  5. Barrow have sold out all the allocation, any chance for a ticket in the Chemics end?
  6. http://i519.photobucket.com/albums/u353/le...pg?t=1246204985
  7. Come to think about it, the last time i saw him was in Wiggin. With the greeting " awreet Mick lad. "
  8. Worked in a slaughterhouse in the 70s, doing some building work. The Asian bloke came round about once a week, said a few prayers while he slit the throat of a few sheep over the cradle, once he went, the men carried on doing the same thing without praying. The only time i saw the imune way of killing a sheep was when the inspector came round, like using an electric stunner. But my point is, all the carcasses got stacked together in a big freezer, and when asking the owner which are the halal sheep, he replied " Ive not a fucking clue".
  9. Flairs in fashion had about a five year life span 72-77, but the sub cultures in the 70s were forever changing. Unlike todays youth, where chavs seem to have been around for ages.
  10. Ian Greaves and Des Mc Bain were forever in Poland, i am sure they had a couple of wimmin over there.
  11. Willie Morgan between Reidy and Mickey Walsh.
  12. Anyone having the misfortune to drive down Atherleigh Way, and try to negotiate that roundabout without getting cut up, honked at, and given the wanker sign, must be the worlds best drivers. Get some traffic lights installed you Wiggin Metro wasters.
  13. Very true. Some of the streets would have been wiped away had it been Salford in the sixties, but it does have a close community feel about the place.
  14. Always found her a little bit twee for my liking.
  15. They do get a decent support, i think they got 2700 against Featherstone in the semi, and it was on the telly. So i expect at least 5000 at Blackpool.
  16. That result today comes close to Wiggin getting beat at Crusaders, but regarding Blackpool, i enjoyed the company of the semi-clad teen minxes sporting HKR tattoos in the pub near the ground three year ago.
  17. Oye, Big E, Widders. Do you fancy a day out at the seaside? I will be with the other lot.
  18. I remember my dad going on his regular Wembley jaunt, for the Challenge Cup Finals in the Sixties. Then telling me years later, how all the Saints and Wigginers used to knock fuck out of all the Greek/Turk Cypriots and Maltese bouncers on the strip joints in Soho.
  19. Scousers are another race what manages to survive in the UK aswell.
  20. You have got to admit, they dont do themselves any favours. If the people from the countries they came from are saying we are fed up with them nicking and begging, and are glad to get rid. What do they expect in Belfast?
  21. Reading the Belfast Telegraph online, and reading the 115 comments, the families were Roma gypsies whose kids were terrorising the neighbourhood, so its been brewing for a while.
  22. Its a great coup for Leigh fans, cant wait for me Euro jolly to Colwyn Bay now.
  23. Its embarrasing being part of the nearly " Cheshire Set".
