  1. Hang about. Crawley and Whites Man reckon George Galloway is a sadly misunderstood individual who means well and cares only for the welfare of the poor Iraqi and Afghani. Can't you nasty realists have a nice word to say about him Personally, I'd have had the coont locked in the Tower for treason by now but, hey, what do I know?
  2. Yes Bogsy, you farking JCL :::::::: Oi, scottgreen. Don't get cheeky now
  3. Correct mate. Got me in one. Happy, w?nkered doesn't start to describe it. Unfortunately, alcohol played little part.
  4. How much are 'Etch A Sketch' these days? Did you get the private parcel yet mate? Opinions on the varieties?
  5. ...........and people thought Morse Code had had its time.
  6. 64-66 one for me. Will always remember being in awe of the God like Freddie Hill running out of the tunnel in that kit. Brings a lump to ones throat.
  7. Sorry mate - I am truly mindfooked at the moment. What with the flu and the jet lag, I can accurately be described as a moon man at present. Yes, I met you and also failed to mention Victor Meldrew and Mike Hunt. A pleasure and a privilege in all cases.
  8. I have also decided to boycott that pro-Spanish series, Fawlty Towers.
  9. Oh, I wish mate. I truly do. I will be thinking of you all and raising a glass to you, that's for sure.
  10. Thought I'd have a better one somewhere. Followed by Zico meets Franco. Bolty meets Nicko. Satnav and Zozzy sat in front of a pair of potential uphill Pamplonas.
  11. You can all pack it in now. I ain't falling for it. A fooking earthquake just after I leave? FFS couldn't you think of a more original wind up?
  12. Kinell Undies! Didn't exactly capture me at my best there pal. I could get a job frightening pigeons at Trinity St station FFS! I was coming down with the flu but I look like a younger, slimmer version of me best pal Cassie ::::::::
  13. They'll have you in the next padded cell to Gazza if you keep this up.
  14. I knew that S! Feigned indignance aimed at raising a titter
  15. Breaking this thread down and removing all other posters contributions and leaving it to Smiffs and Crawley; it could be offered to outsiders as a quick tutorial on British politics. I am remaining completely neutral in this argument between Smiffs The Righteous and Crawley The Deluded Apologist Bedwetting Commie Pinko Freak
  16. Well. I've never been so insulted in all my life! Here was me thinking I still looked like a mod 'face'
  17. I didn't think you would want to raise this in a public forum Carlos. "Carlos - wanna beer?" Never seen anyone run away so fast.
  18. Oh, right. I thought you'd just got up
  19. Point taken Zico. They do refer to it this way all the time down here and I suppose something has to rub off somewhere. I shall try to do better in future, Miss. Now, what's your excuse for that fooking haircut? :p
  20. Bogsy - Yep, next time mate. A few 'looseners' in the valley? Muzzle - Disagree. Megson is getting it right. Personally, I enjoy our uncomromising 'in your face' style and we do play some great football in patches (first 20 mins of 2nd half at Blackburn for instance). Smiley - Surprisingly, he has experienced a lot of English support but a first time Euro away day with the whites is summat else. He absolutely loved it (except for the Spanish police of course). H - Certainly not! Wouldn't want to catch nowt now would I? Sir William - just PM me when your tickets are booked mate. You're always welcome. Be aware of the seasons though. You'd be surprised how many come in June - July - August (our wet winter). Absolute best time is mid March to mid May - 25-27C every day. Dec-Jan-Feb is like living in a fan forced oven. Alibob - surely you've heard that one before?
  21. The consortium stuff is old news. As far as Megson is concerned, I now believe you are doing him a disservice. Months ago, I was one of the fearful ones who thought we were being unambitious in appointing Megson. Like a few on here, I took the view we had to get behind him and give him a chance. I now belive that he has shown what he can do with players of a higher calibre than he has ever had the opportunity to work with before. I have no doubt that, with our current line up and Megson at the helm from day one of this season, we would be sitting comfortably in the top half. If he can solve the striking conundrum in the close season I, for one, am looking forward to next season in the EPL with a good measure of optimism (rare for me ) Results in Munich, Madrid, Belgrade and at home to Man United have not been lucky. He has built a great defensive unit and that is the foundation of every successful team.
  22. Got in about 10 hours ago. had some kip (still flu ridden) and came on to this source of wonderment. Bloodshot eyes drawn immediately to 'Get rid of Campo' and 'Time to drop Kevin Davies'. Now then, I have just spent around 8 happy days in the company of remarkably fine Bolton folk. Minor disagreements about subtleties of formations or interpretations of a refereeing or substitution decision etc. but, FFS, where do the knobspankers who write utter dross like this come from? I suppose I would have been unlikely to have been able to have a chat with them in the Plaza Mayor as I believe most of HM's mental institutions only allow day release on weekends? Thoughts in my addled brain at the moment:- - Blackburn away. Just a bad day at the office. Stupid refereeing decision fooked our whole game plan. Just pretend it never happened. - Madrid away. Pride. 'None shall pass'. - Madrid pickpockets. Just 10 minutes in a sealed room with any one of them and me and my angle grinder. Finally, me and Satnav (me lads new nickname) would just like to acknowledge a few folk off here who made the whole trip more memorable. Always a pleasure and a privilege to be in the company of unmatchable Bowtners - Traf, Cassie, NB, TSO, Sir William, Jules, Uriah Rennie, as (lay off the yellow sh1t ), Brixton, Gary, Smiley, Lever Ender in LA, athywhite1958, Oli, Zozzy, Scowy, Scotty, Dave Ainy,Widders etc. Apologies to those I have missed - brains fried at present. I have only one regret - that I can't do it all again in Lisbon with you in a couple of weeks time. I'll be there in spirit.
  23. Had a few Tigers. At Bowton Central Library now. Met have a couple of Griffins next
  24. At Changi Airport now. Only a 12.5 hour flight left. Piece o' piss
