I think it's highly unlikely that Big Sam will keep him now after this as it is a doubt that he will play again after further surgeory. Would you run around knowing that you may drop dead because of it? I wouldn't for sure. Purely from the 'cost' side of things, which appear a bit harsh, can we afford to pay someone wages for being on the 'sick' and may never play again? A harsh statement but football is now a business. I wish the lad well and hope he proves me wrong, because I don't think he'll play again.
