Having played against FC St. Pauli (at Rugby that is), I remember it as a great community club with friendly supporters. Both them and HSV are what the Germans call Sportvereins and play a variety of sports including volleyball, soccer, and rugby union. St. Pauli were very integrated in their local community along the Elbe including the Reeperbahn and the Altona worker suburb (Holsten brewery site/country). I reckon Dapo will have a good time there.
