  1. Had to sell him because of these PSR rules.
  2. For me thats counter productive, he is out best player, use him where he is at his best.
  3. He has not played central midfield once all season for Real Madrid. He has 2 or 3 players behind him in every singe game, Modric / Camavinga / Kroos / Tchouameni / Valverde.
  4. Bingo, all these friendlies and the qualifiers that we steam-roll every single year, would have been the time to integrate young players, Branthwaite, Guehi and colwill, Mitchell should have all had loads of mins in the last 18 months.....but Southgate has stuck with Maguire & wasted mins on a 33 year old Lewis Dunk!!! I think we lack really good central midfielders, we need to address that issue.
  5. Foden, Palmer and Bellingham ALL occupy the middle...and even when Palmer and Foden have played "right" they drift in to become central and all their productivity comes centrally. Bellingham probably the bext 10 on the planet right now, so we just cant play all 3. Maybe 2...but than means no Saka, who is probabnly the only "winger" type we have that will run at the full back out wide.....maybe Antony Gordon too now...thats why I think he still looks at Rashford. Its too easy to stick the names together, but all this attacking threat is pointless if the midfield can't support it....and thats where Philips was so bloody good with Rice at the euros...but we don't have anyone to do that roll now in the big games....and its exactly why Henderson / Philips still get picked...maybe its Manoo's time now.
  6. Going down is 1 thing, and most fans deep down get that its been coming, and is part on the game. But its the mess we are in off the field, and how bad the club has been run, that could send the club further down. Thats where the panic and fume and sometime OTT reaction is coming from.
  7. Can't afford to sack him, and a new manager wont make much of a difference unless the club is sorted out.
  8. Made a mistake thats all, he will be sick of having to save us every week AND be the one that creates our attack, its the result of piss poor management with the whole set up.
  9. Kin ell, he made a mistake, it happens. But the whole game plan is on Pickford all game...the whole midfield and defence stand and watch him every game when he has the ball wanting him to do it all, he is a bloody keeper and is our best outlet / playmaker Its more a point of how bad the team is set up and how weak and shite the rest of the team are.
  10. The whole defence/midfield for hiding behind players and not showing for easier passes short for him all game... Its not rocket science.
  11. They also know and agree.....they just want me to bite....😁
  12. Yep, shoe-horning all the best names in regardless of best position has worked for us in the past....
  13. The prem is so so bad. We have won 1 game this year, had an 8 point deduction and STILL moved UP the league. Utter wank league.
  14. It was £22 million....and the only reason we signed him was because Udinese allowed us to put zero money down on him for a year...which speaks volumes really. He is pants...so fits in well at the club.

  16. Ye, its a tough one and close on some criteria, then not on others. Many factors really. Getting all "geeky", points could be awarded for key criteria headers : euro trophies, domestic trophies, historic crowds, years in top league, highest finishes, cup wins, cup finals, consecutive years in ellite leagues, firsts (founder members etc), records. That would help narrow down a more refined list.
  17. Boltons historic average attendance is 17k....which does lean to you have many years of some god-awfull crowds that most will ignore. But, you are currently at what ?? Aorund 20k average for this season while playing in the 3rd division, and selling out away games. I would say thats very very good support, that only a certain amount of clubs would do.
  18. Yes exactly, crowds are hard to really judge, as it depends on size of the grounds over the years. Every clubs has had ups n downs, but the historic average attendance table is probably the most realistic measure. Some clubs attendances have been bizarre...Arsenal for a period getting 20's averages....one of the biggest clubs in the world.
  19. Its a funny one the crowds, Newcastle get more becasue they have a bigger stadium, thats it. Before if was increased they had crowds less than Everton, and once the ground move happens, they will move above Newcastle in the Historic attendance table. Leeds & West ham are way down that table.
  20. *3 less than Everton.....😁
  21. Ipswich, they have won the top division & a European trophy.
  22. They also come runners up in the league twice when they won the UEFA Cup.....and they have actually won the top league.....thats way better than any Bolton finish tbf!

    Safe standing

Think safe standing in England would be 1:1 - May create a better atmosphere at times, and offer some a chance to feel all "old skool", but it wond add anything ££ for many clubs, so dont think they will bother.
