I’m in a less hopeful mood.
We showed a battling spirit last night, but the cold truth is we can’t score against a busy defence. Almost looks like we slow up looking for a perfect ball into the box.20 shots to 8 is the truth behind our failings.
Felt like a big positive with the efforts of the second half, but will that be enough against Derby, Portsmouth and Peterborough?

Ogbeta ( I think! ) squandered two good chances going for glory. He might be getting there position wise, but his decisions cost us last night.

The 2nd half chance with Jerome and Adeboydells was interesting. They being fresh legs ran up the pitch and there was a large gap behind as they did so. The chance was missed, but a glimpse at our midfield showed the majority with hands on their knees catching some breath.
They looked knackered. -

At 23, he could be very good business.
Not seen or heard much about Herr Flick , although I have heard his family got rich off the back of a painting of a fallen Madonna with a fine pair.

It will be a time long remebered for many horrid reasons.
Irrespective of results, having football keeps us sane and keeps us going.
