  1. Difficult. Similar positions to Foden I suppose, but I'd rather him than Rashford at the moment.
  2. Hope so! Not sure he'll play though. Hat-trick in 29 mins. Some going.
  3. Longest duration of hail in a day I can remember. Has some heavier, but it seemed to hail for most of the morning, then more this afternoon.
  4. Wife's grandad had a merc, and it seemed to float over bumps; it was really smooth and comfy. Her parents have a b class merc, and it is obviously good, but is a much firmer ride than the older one.
  5. Could do with a sizeable win tomorrow. Obviously we have to win the game first and foremost, but getting some back on Derby wouldn't go amiss.
  6. Was stood in my fish pond as the storm arrived here. I got out.
  7. Cost of repairs, servicing, and insurance to consider too. If you can afford both, then no problems. Personally, with such a low mileage, I'd have an electric car- loads of second hand ones, with all the running cost benefits available. Just read an article about oil prices, which have been and are likely to inch upwards, so expect petrol to follow. However, given your choice- I'd have the skoda.
  8. I suppose if there are any disagreements on the pitch or bollockings to be administered then it helps to have a focal point.
  9. More pearls of wisdom from the human Van de Graaff generator. All that negativity- should be connected to the grid.
  10. Landscaping is different to arborist teams.
  11. Haha. He had it away on his claws! The sound made him jump like a salmon. Finally managed to report it to Bury Council. Dogshit system for such things.
  12. Had a mooch with the hounds earlier. Last one was at the base of a tree and I was just about to pass it, when the fucker broke and started to come down. Fortunately, it became held up in adjacent trees, otherwise I may not be here! Reckon I've had a lucky escape.
  13. My old fella's team, and as blues are outweighed by reds in my extended family, it has to be them.
  14. Apparently, China supplies much of the cotton which is used the world over for manufacturing nitrocellulose- used in explosives. Time for all our farmers to plant the fields...
  15. Bollocks to that. Don't want London winning owt.
  16. Villa have beaten them once, so why knows.
  17. Traff's replacement has made a few mistakes now iirc.
  18. Ruptured achilles wasn't it? Next season job I reckon.
