  1. BBC show some of the women's games, but I don't know about sky. Surely there isn't so much "competition" as to warrant late start times for the play offs?
  2. Aye. Plenty of examples of where harm has come about from all this, despite claims elsewhere.
  3. A strange situation. Denied the charge and went through the first day. Then gone. I don't know how bail/custody is determined, but I would have thought that if he was considered a suicide risk, he wouldn't have been granted it.
  4. You won't really know. Estimates are just that, and they vary wildly as observed from guesses on here.
  5. Attendances will still be reported as those sold though, as they are now.
  6. Home or combined? I reckon average attendance will likely be higher, given number of sizeable away followings. Home totals will depend, as you say, on performance.
  7. Not just there neither. An unfortunate invasion into approach by certain groups, affecting thinking. Increasing revelations, and data on side effects of these drugs, let alone their intended consequences. In years to come, could this be another scandal/compensation situation?
  8. He would have been 14. Is that a bit too young to determine if he will make it as a bowler, or can coaches tell by then if a player has the required attributes?
  9. The very point I made previously. As unlikely as it is, if they were drawing and the game ticks on, then there is the chance that subconsciously they start to settle for what they have. A risky mindset at that point. It makes our situation clearer though: just go and try to win the game. That's the only thing that gives us a chance, so there is no mixed thinking nor tactical approaches that can yield the same success.
  10. Just had a look, he's only 16- looks big already on that clip.
  11. Some of those off-side shots were Root-esque. Played late and using the pace on the ball.
  12. Agree. It's the highlighted bit that hasn't been the case. The use of puberty blockers for example- increasingly revealed just how ridiculous this is, in different ways.
  13. Hello Danny, Well thanks for fuck all. EFL>fans.
  14. The Gateshead story involves the local council too, as they are the landlords (or whatever you call it). https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/football/68869062.amp
  15. Absolutely. Fans can't be happy surely, even if they can understand the need to rest some.
  16. Anyone breaking the law deserved to get nicked. Won't be the case on the next pro-palestine march. Intelligence suggesting far-right/football hoolies would be in attendance, and has been policed accordingly. Fair enough. Yet when individuals with knows pro-terror sympathies get involved with hate marches, it seems that the commissioner is far less stringent.
  17. Spot on there Swanny. I've mentioned this before on here, but I've a family member who felt from the age of about 8 that things "weren't right". Started male, and once old enough, commenced the long, in-depth process of changing. Psychological analysis, pre-op living as a woman etc before final surgery. A long difficult process achieved without great fuss, ridiculous posts on pillock-tube nor exhibitionism/activism. Quite happy to refer to her as she/a woman now. Also have one (maybe two) others now who rant/screech about what they are. Strange how all their close friends are of the same group think, gripped not just by the fashion of the day, but by the dangerous over the top pandering by too many. In years to come we're going to see what a fuck up some have made; the shocking practices in the Tavistock clinic and numerous cases of bizarre decisions leading to job loss, harm and anything in between. Hopefully the Cass report is the first step on that road. Unfortunately, there are plenty in politics and positions of authority that aren't happy about it, and will take some shifting.
  18. St Patrick wasn't born in Ireland. Yet no bugger seems bothered. Countries all over the world celebrate their nation/culture in all manner of ways, and are happy to do so. Only the usual progressive group-thinkers telling folk what they have to believe, how to think and to be anti-English as that's the only way to atone. I've not put a flag out, been to a party or done anything specific to the day, but it doesn't mean I look down on those that have. All the best to them.
