  1. Sheehan hasn't been as good in recent weeks as he was at the start. Assuming he plays tomorrow, it will be interesting to see his performance.
  2. A lot of work depends upon ground conditions too. Whilst it might be preferable to do stuff in better weather, there isn't enough time in that short period, so stuff would take even longer. An awkward time for me, as some folk see their grass is a bit scratty and are asking why it's not cut. Mower weighs several times more than a flymo and can do more damage than good. Even trogging up and down on a lawn whilst pruning etc can compress it and cause future issues.
  3. Bury Market more than Bolton for me. Lawson's sweet stall for the lad as a toddler, butcher's, fresh veg, bread stall, cheese stall, and household products etc. Brilliant.
  4. She is. As our arachnid fried has said, do wonder if its also the right of employers to make the jab compulsory for their workers? Lad has now been told to avoid crowds etc to help with cases at college. Won't now come to the matches. So many staff and students off with it, videos for lessons by a stand in; would stick in the craw though if I thought the teachers weren't vaccinated but still coming out with such requests.
  5. Always looked quicker going forward.
  6. No chance I wouldn't have thought. Detached a tendon.
  7. Not allowed. However, it is amazing how often a player will have a slight injury, if shortly after a transfer, he is to play against the selling club... Not so sure that will apply now!
  8. If you didn't warm the pot first, then you've failed to maximise the tea's potential. Loose tea in a pot too.
  9. I was referring to God. The other characters, like Pharaohs, Henry viii, etc have historical records, geological evidence etc to illustrate the existence of previous societies. Yes, this may be the very essence of a faith, but, as you say, nowadays it falls down. And anyone making judgements of others on the back of their faith just illustrates the potential danger within them. Now then, spirituality is a different matter.
  10. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/health-55274833.amp I think that figure includes those under 12 etc that aren't yet eligible. Last figure I heard was 5m who are eligible that haven't had it. Either way, it's still a lot. My neighbour is one: seems to think she's "boxing clever". Trouble is her lad won't have it neither.
  11. Bloody hell, "spent Real good money" and "investors backing the club". Now, obviously FV have been world beating in their approach, but the idea we've been chucking money about, well what planet is he on.
  12. Thing I don't get is how you can believe in something (or more pertinently someone) that has never been shown to exist. No evidence. Just someone else writing a book or telling you it does.
  13. I did a bit of Googling and found a few scientific clips that explain the human body's skin is actually a good insulator, its the water that counters this. Perhaps we could dessicate protestors and strap them to the walls inside the cavity? Homes better insulated and traffic moving- a win win.
  14. The paradox: If everyone had the vaccine, there'd be no need for passports. Anyway, as for the working location- to try to present being "in" or "out" as being definitively better than the other is plainly daft and ill considered. Depends upon the job, and the individual. Stupid references to train drivers- as it happens they're probably quite safe in their own cab away from passengers. Lad has been told by college that masks are to be worn at all times when in. He also reckons they've told students to avoid crowded places etc to help reduce infections as loads are students and staff are off with it. Nothing official (and no wonder!)- not sure I'm overly impressed when an educational establishment is going this far.
  15. Not injured then, that's a relief. Sarc for Sheehan Saturday?
  16. At least our main centre half will be back Saturday. Hopefully John will be too, though he's not been at his best yet this season. Sheehan hardly been mentioned, was he anonymous?
  17. BN says we've been better second half. True or not? Or are Plymouth settling for what they've got?
  18. Sounds like he's having a shocker. Has he got covid?
  19. Plymouth must have played in the rain before!🤣
  20. Unfortunately, that's always a possibility when playing a big lad up top. If you're going to do it, then get team mates near to him. Not watching though, so just reading comments.
