  1. Population density, average age/health, typical wealth all relevant. As is what is determined to be a covid death. Lots of factors at play. It's not over complicating things when trying to achieve a meaningful comparison, which is going to be essential when nations review their methods to assess areas for improvement etc in a repeat event.
  2. Already said that haven't they? The obvious retort. Not sure how consumers and restaurants across the continent would feel. Love our langoustines!
  3. Can you expand on that pal. I thought it was the rates relief they'd chosen to give back- how does the shareholders needing their dividend mean they have to give it back? Is it more complicated somehow?
  4. Haha. I nearly joined you t'other day- stamped on a piece of palet trying to make some kindling. It didn't fucking break!
  5. Probably because of the internal markets bill with that dodgy section supposedly going back in. Anyhow, fuck em, buy more British. Who needs cunting Danepak. Which reminds me, slightly off topic, but well done to Tesco and the other chains for giving all that money back. Credit where its due.
  6. I'm not saying they were at all, it was just something that came into my mind. Lads on a tank that goes boom, poor bastards.
  7. The oven ready deal was cooked 12 months ago. Eaten and shat out long ago. What's wrong now?
  8. Proper holiday. Proper match. Being able to walk along a path without gippers giving us a wide berth as if we've got the plague (well, we might but you get the idea). Spending time with wider family, but etc.
  9. Aye, he was asked to clarify it later: I dont think there was anything hugely medical in there more a cultural reference- JVT commented too about his Japanese heritage and how its become customery as a means of not spreading coughs and colds. It might catch on here a tad, but can't see it being remotely mainstream. Still loads can't be arsed at the virus' zenith.
  10. Can't you sort a zoom piss up? Get a delivery from a local brewery and arrange a time with like-minded individuals. Hardly ideal, but might break the monotony.
  11. In or on? I heard someone saying they were on top of the tank. Strangely I thought of something you'd said once about welders, and imagined someone with using such equipment igniting methane! Whatever the cause, it is indeed grim. Going to work to do your normal job and not coming home is awful.
  12. It isnt. Just been an explanation whereby the virus may still be 'caught' and multiply in the nose and possibly throat. Then expressed in the usual way. You won't become ill from it but may still spread it. Personally, I dont understand that, as I would have thought the antibodies would nobble it and prevent it multiplying, but those that do know, say differently.
  13. Haha, dead right! Use it regularly of a night to help keep passages clear for sleeping. Occasionally don't get it all off the hands and, well you can guess the rest.
  14. At a water treatment plant. Major incident, and multiple casualties.
  15. £250 million agreed for efl clubs. Championship gets £200m Leagues 1 and 2 get £50m shared. Approx £1m each then.
  16. Free range for me ideally too. Certainly cost more though.
  17. Its that first phase that's going to take longer than we might think unfortunately. Still need the stuff to be made and delivered, and until the Oxford one is available, then vaccination hubs are going to be the primary delivery method, beyond care homes etc. Add to that at least one month from first jab to protection, and we're in restrictions for some time yet.
  18. Jvt did an interesting session this morning. Clearly not going to get everyone done that quickly. Oxford Vaccine much easier to work with which would help, but we can only use what we've got at the moment.
  19. Mine too. Must be anticipating fans being allowed back fairly soon.
  20. Aye. Mutton is good. I also reckon Rudy's chickens are particularly old neither. https://www.ciwf.org.uk/farm-animals/chickens/meat-chickens/#:~:text=Chickens can live for six,at around 12 weeks old. Hmm
  21. What a nobber, pissed or taken something? Or full on loon? Or both?
  22. Just chatted to my brother- he got one for my niece a few years ago. He went online to a British shop, and did a lot of research, refractive/reflective etc etc. They guide you through depending upon what you want to use it for. He can't remember the name of the website, but reckoned googling would find it. Just had a quick look and there seems to be a few places and also someone offering guidance. Might be worth a browse first.
