  1. Hopefully they'll stay clear of the game. Presumably, you're referring to social media- nutters out for likes or dislikes, trying to cause a stir. I reckon some of these are happy to be anything for a bit of fame. Not just or necessarily racists, but all sorts of swamp creatures emitting methane and bile.
  2. Reading your comments, it is right then that she was fucked in the head before she came? If so, how on earth was she allowed to remain? Mind-blowing decision. Additionally, was she being treated for her illness whilst awaiting asylum application? Seems some serious changes required to the 'system', in all sorts of ways. Ludicrous.
  3. You have a fine point. I'd go with that. Could even let her maj announce it Christmas day!
  4. Yes, certainly. Totally and utterly different experience with respect to abuse. Maybe poorer is some regards (terracing and sound). No doubt some now keep a lid on it, but that in itself is an achievement. In time behaviour has changed because of a lot of work from relevant parties.
  5. I'm sure some will, never please everyone. Doesn't mean its not been effective, not does it mean improvements can't be made. As a youngster I hated some of the chants and abuse. Players had no outlet and had to suck it up. Totally different now. Hugely so, and for me a reason why crowds grew from where they were.
  6. Music gig? Gave up on them years ago, strangely because I wanted to listen to music, not some expletive laden rant by someone looking to raise their popularity (income).
  7. They already twisted one of his comments from a previous interviews. Take a snippet that’s not properly representative and run with it. In fairness the TV platforms also do it.
  8. Ask away. How many were even born in the 80s and weren't subject to the abuse that was prevalent? The ones that occasionally receive abuse- what level of reporting and support is there now. Frankly your suggestion that nothing has worked is ridiculous. Utterly. Seems they are protesting about a wider issue, particularly in America. In which case fine, but do it away from the game please.
  9. Councils have open and closed tendering procedures, depending upon value. Companies already on approved contractor list can be approached as part of the closed scheme. Anyone can put in a bid on an open scheme, typically for bigger contracts.
  10. Only 4 'transitions' allowed by the mhra, which restricts the number of journeys and amount of handling. JVT also mentioned that the packs cannot be split (mhra again) at the moment, but hoped they would allow it soon enough. Presumably needs many new freezers all over the place to make it more feasible. Oxford one will make a big difference if approved.
  11. What makes you think nothing has changed and the current measures don't work? Evidence from decades of watching the game says exactly the opposite. Not perfect, but a million miles from where we were. The current one on the other hand is doing the exact opposite.
  12. Yep. I do wonder if some of the booing was aimed at those booing too. A boo off.
  13. This is another typical social media post. Decide which parts/words suit what they want to post and ignore the whole. Doesn’t matter what the subject matter is; not confined to brexit nor what 'side' they're on. Then they get spread around like well informed individuals with real insight.
  14. Really? Millwall fans will be burning them in the streets!
  15. Good point. Burnley been doing reasonably well after sticking with Dyche.
  16. On the hand, I belive he'll do better in a better team. Not a defensive player, but preferable to Crawford at the moment. As is Isgrove. Just looking at the 'highlights'; don't see how kioso can be criticised too much for the first. Hes got 2 players to try and cover, whilst Sarcevic is basically stood there watching the game pass him by. He then flaps his arms when it goes in. Poor body language, reminiscent of games early in the season.
  17. My neighbour just came up with a suggestion: Jones into Tutte's position. Might be useful with his defensive experience.
  18. Aye- there was a photo this morning with the vaccine in storage in these freezers somewhere. All kept quiet though.
  19. Keep the quantity down and you're ok. Plenty of good stuff in meat, its not all evil. Silverside later, with loads of veggies.
  20. I reckon Attenborough would be a great person to have photographed receiving the vaccine.
  21. I wasn't expecting Hatton to be one of the mersey five. An unpleasant individual but I thought he'd gradually slipped into a nondescript existence.
  22. Refrigeration manufacturers have been producing extra equipment as a priority for the storage of these vaccines. Place that supplies my dog food had to have his bespoke freezer delivery delayed whilst units were made for the nhs.
  23. Wonderful rich voice, lots of colour and interest in his delivery. Always had a story and made watching the coverage far more interesting. RIP.
  24. Mushrooms are essential on pizza.
