Remember Piccadilly on a Saturday afternoon used to do all local football and the pre recorded   "OH NO!" Used to be played when a goal against was conceded, you just knew it would be us.

Loved that. And 'its a goal ' listened to it at my grandmas house on saturday afternoon. great memories

I read that as training gear, kits, leisure wear etc. No doubt we still owe them something from Sweaty's time.

I hate that bastard and his scruffy aids infested son

    🤣🤣👍

  3. Football fan we got your manager and he signed one of your loan players and may or may not have taken another loanee but that doesnt make you the Barcelona of div 2. By your own admission your best player has jumped ship to.....the mighty Stockport County.

Good luck to you but your big fight is to stay in this league not bothering about how many Barrow players would walk into our team. Not many pal if any. Good luck with that fat Blackburn prick in charge as well.

    I’ll raise you 50p..... sold. 😂

Now you just need to find the other £999,999.50 a month to keep the shitbags running 😬🤭

And in other news the bloke who started all this Chip Shop Sharpey has rocked up at Mansfield in some kind of Tobias Phoenix role. pmsl

I know that. But he wasn’t bothered about whether that was a condition or not as he didn’t want them anyway

Spot on Barry. He and we wont be bothered by that condition whatsoever. Just a sop to Barrow and a tbf a re assurance to them he wouldn't dismantle their team

Hes had the whole league to look at, talent from lots of teams thats caught his eye

FV have a plan and looking good so far. Hopefully other fans who still think we are the same club on and off the field will get a shock sometime soon

  6. It really is Simpletons Speyk on there. No preferred bidder, admin desperate to get an agreement yesrerday to civer wages and all in the middle of current pandemic. Unless peg leg resurfaces who the hell is going to take them on in current circumstances.  Penny slowly, very slowly coz its Wigan and they certainly aint the brightest, dropping.

That Hong Konger Agent Stanley or wherever he's from  he needs making an Honorary Wanderer.

Playing devil's advocate, do you care what it looks like if we finish mid table?  If we're bottom 6?  Or do you just not care full stop?

Sad as it is, I care.  I felt a bit embarrassed by the 'bra' and the 'tesco bag'.  And even at £10 I couldnt bring myself to be seen in last season's.  I would prefer to be proud of the kit, just like I'd prefer to be proud of the fans, of the ground, of the manager, of the owners, etc.  What position we are in the league is a completely seperate issue.

🙄 He doesnt care full stop. Neither do i. only kids and not rights buy replica shirts anyway

  8. They really are thick as fuck. one mon suggested Bowyer for new manager mentioning he was out of work had experience of working with skint teams and could fit bill. His mate said what about his off field antics. No thats Lee you thick pie eater and a manager is least if your worries.  Roll on Friday and start of transfer window. Exodus

No Matt Platt for Bolton. Signed a permanent 2 year deal with Barrow . Bad luck.

Yes we are worried about missing out on someone no one on hear had heard of until someone put 2 plus 2 together and came up with Matt Platt. Who?

Same as that idiot on Div 2 forum (don't even know which no mark team he follows) saying Jordan Turnbull signing for Salford was a 'kick in the bollocks for Bolton'. Didnt know they had a list of Evatts Targets.?

I'd miss the boxing. And the odd Champions League game. That's about it.

I still have BT Sport as they gave it me free as part of my broadband package so Champions Lge covered and ESPN for the American Sports. Would definitely miss NFL but cheaper options for that than Sky as well. Never realised you still get Sky Sports Mix with non premium package its ok for highlights of when we were in prem and classic games from a few sports. had the odd.live game on during lock down as well

Did anybody else realised they don't actually give a fuck about Premier League football during lockdown?

Yep. Sky Sports potted as well. Not missed it a bit. Really is over hyped nonsense with competition being who's got biggest billionaire owners.

I remember a coachload of Middlesbrough turning up at Heaton Cricket Club in Smithills a few years back, it seemed a strange choice of venue with it being a bit of a trek from our stadium.

Must have been some connection think same coachload went there every season for a few years certainly the Saturday afternoon ko"s
