We were all bemused more than anything when freedman got job and that didnt change much while he remained! Was suggested on here ages ago by folk who know their onions that this could be way forward. City/ Utd/Liverpool (Blackburn at one time who scooped up the captain of the Bolton Town Team a certain Keith Hill not to mention Gary Flitcroft, Jason Wilcox etc) will always get best local talent. Lots of good young players wont make it so lets be scouting them and become known for giving them a first team chance when they are chewed up and spat out by the billionaires Small time or realistic and ultimately (,given 'success' of our academy) more productive on and off the pitch?

Ok point one none of those players have played in a team made up of cast offs , injury prone, out of contract misfits at a club as fucked as ours before. Secondly lets look at these "decent' players individually. Luke Murphy- has never shown anything for me even in his first 5 games or so and wouldnt be playing if we had any sort of squad. Daryl done ok scoring goals in a very poor team so don't class him as gone 'rubbish" and thats all hes had to do probably at other clubs- as he doesn't have much else to his game thats obvious. Hobbs is just injury prone unfortunately. Its why Forest got rid and why he was available. Be same for him anywhere Nsala was hounded out at Ipswich Lambert said he needs to get away. Manager speak not good enough fir us. Bryan and Crawford have looked decent for us, Crawford unlucky with the injury. Emmanuel again not deemed good enough by another club in our division defensively suspect there and here. I dont buy it that Hillcroft have this team playing well below 'standard". Folk were saying same about our terrible team in the Championship.

Think its very unfair all things considered to be talking of potting Hill now. Then to suggest appointing untried folk like David Lee or journeymen like Bowyer is ridiculous IMHO. Snowfall shaping up nicely 3 episodes in. Back into Narcos seems ok miss Pablo tho. Started new Saul as well. Like someone saud its slow as treacle but i know i will watch it some great characters in that. Gave up on Homeland after half an hour. Claire Danes gets well on my wick now and negotiating with the Taliban? Not my idea of enjoyment.
