I suppose the healthy living drive has to be factored in as well. I just think you wont see the pub culture of the past as mainstream, regardless of what ever happens.

Has the decline in traditional pubs had a bigger impact in communities breaking down? Remember going as a kid and seeing most of my neighbours in the local pub.
All depends on where bud, some nice areas on the outskirts of Rochdale. Some lovely houses up by Hollingworth Lake. Could get used to a bit of that myself.
