    Ajax

The one with the bald head, right at front on the photo, is a bouncer at Royalties night club, and the one wearing the cap on the right hand side is an Ajax fan who goes to every game and lives in Eindhoven!
  2. Not yet - only just come across Big E, today, on here with a couple of his/her posts...
  3. I burst into laughter when I saw that on SSN! Roll on the scum fans when they come over to a-dam.
  4. I will be going to the mediterannean restaurant up in Belmont for New Years meal and drinks with friends.
  5. Crewe Alexandra - mainly because when at Uni I went to a lot of there games as I was living in Crewe and Alsager at the time. Almere FC - city where I currently live Ajax - just because ever since I was a child I often wondered why a team would name themselves after a cleaning cloth!
  6. Apologies - I jumped the gun and didn't see this post.
  7. Talk about complete lazy journalism on all parts, including the FA! Budweiser is a product, originated in the US but now brewed around the world, made by AB-Inbev which is actually a Belgian company - same company that makes Stella Artois, Becks and is licensed to produce Corona in Europe. Therefore it is not an American sponsor but a Belgian sponsor! http://www.ab-inbev.com/
  8. I know you will But that won't be for a while, for a long long while
  9. I wasn't watching the TV, my head was facing the other direction - so as not to get the glare or light. Already could see the flashing colours before my eyes, never mind the excrutiating pain as though my head was about to explode at any moment along with with the hot and cold spells. As I said it was only a mild migraine - I can take sound, but its the light that hurts the most. Lasted almost 5 hours but still feel weak with it now. Anway, last night was either BBC2 or Nat Geo (which basically was the same type of programming) - so give me BBc any day - no bloody commercials
  10. So would I, normally, but was stuck in hotel, on Isle of Wight, with a mild migraine - so was in a darkened room with only the TV on. I actually missed the last night of the Festival - luckily not many big headline acts so did not miss much.
  11. I actually thought Sunday night telly was great - there again I did have BBC2 on for most of the evening as the other channels were shite. Story of Ireland Top Gear repeat James May's Toys and then the Syfy channel for the Battle of Los Angeles (in fact should have had Gold on as this film was crap)
  12. I could ask her, but not in Amsterdam this weekend - I'll be at the Isle of Wight festival, instead
  13. I was at the Blundell, with the family, in mid-March and the food wasn't that bad at all. It was closed for a couple of weeks late last year to do the place up, although i could not tell the difference. The menu is on a rotational basis depending upon the season and what special weeks they have planned. A word of warning - stay away from the Amstel beer - its shit over here but at the Blundell its even worse! But i do love their Gammon and Eggs
  14. Traf I think would be a great top blooke to meet Sharpy, yes, just to buy him a drink and see what really makes him tick Natasha - where ever she has disappeared to - noticed she hasnt been on BA for a while Have met a few off here, whilst they have been near me (wheteher it be at my usual watering hole or other bars) - but honestly cannot remember their names (apologies)
  15. Yep the Thames staff Christmas Party Still could never understand why bungle wore pyjamas for bed and was naked other times!
  16. Good God, that brought back memories of my childhood with vimto shakes!
  17. Ok what were the stats for the night? How much money (profit) did both teams make? Only asking as I fell asleep during the programme last night. I know who was kicked out - that lazy good-for-nothing idiot (you may say which one as they all are), as I did wake up for the "You're Fired" show on BBC2 but only saw 10 minutes of that before going to bed.
  18. Carer no longer required. Thanks a lot to Government cutbacks!
  19. V and V: The Final Battle were, I agree with you here, the best drama's I have ever seen. Have them on DVD and still watch and, although made in the 80's with the fashion and hair, the story does not date. V - the series (19 episodes) was absolutely rubbish - no direction, no story-arc, and very weak cast except for Marc Singer, Robert Englund and Jane Badler V - the series 2009 - far better - but nothing ever beats the original!
  20. Tickets arrived today, flight already booked for Friday evening, and back on Monday evening. Blackpool - here I come. Our away record is awful and , for some reason, we always seem to help out struggling teams. Head says Blackpool 2 - 1 Bolton Heart says Blackpool 0 - 2 Bolton
  21. No news yet but signs are good for a third season! Either way (excluding V and V:The Final Battle miniserials) this series has been far superior than the 19 episode series of the 1980's Nice touch to have Jane Badler back as Diana, but why have Marc Singer as a different character - would have been good if he had been Mike Donovan, as in the original series.
  22. Sounds almost as vile as Cherry 7Up!
