I think it's a very mediocre signing , hope it's not a sign of things to come. Cahill deserves some quality to line up with him or he'll be off. Shittu and Robinson will be fodder for the moaners .

They were shit and they're for the taking, but Garty/Davies had Megson under instruction, as well as Megson having a ?1m bonus to stay up so getting out of UEFA was appealing. You can't blame Megson, i'd have fielded a weakened team for that money riding on it.

i think also the lure of playing in the premier league was the main factor but credit for BSA getting them here. They certainly raised the profile of the club more than we appreciate. Youri was god, never heard about that money issue. Just doff your cap to the legend

I think you have to be realistic in the type of player Megson is capable of attracting . Considering his very mediocre track record, he's done well to get in Cahill, Taylor, S Davis. He hasn't the charisma of an Allardyce so its best to not to have too high expectations
