  1. Thanks Super Bock. I have emailed the people I believed would check the site. They haven’t responded either, I think right now maybe temporarily outside the country. If need be I will find another general address for you. We just don’t want to leave personal addresses here, that’s all. In terms of leaving m25, we have members across the south and links with folk that use to live South of Brum eg Satan. Don’t get many concessions from the club as are completely independent, -do- from the supporters club and despite discussions that we should link up over the years we never have. All sorts or reasons why not.
  2. Sat’n greavsie. Corrrectamundo.
  3. Hi You should be able to get through to us at Londonwhites@yahoogroups.com But if a prob then let us know here. We still have various members etc. That come on here. If need be could easily meet up at Brentford. If you know thogdens there is an obvious contact there. Also Satan. B
  4. We were at back by door at Crem. Including the infamous David Jack. 5 inc Victor Meldrew.
  5. Like Baba and other Bwscl whites, feel really sad that such a nice bloke has gone. Last pint I remember having with him was in the sweet green approx 2 years and as always his analysis was sound. I can imagine a few of the London lot will go to his funeral. I also know he got some of the travelling in he wanted before the inevitable which he knew was in the way. RIP Bernard
  6. Sad news. Thanks for all the memories. In the round, I think you were the only chairman who I remember getting us to some mighty highs. RIP
  7. No way we will let them off the hook tomorrow. Hope you are having a warmer time than here. Let's see what can do tomorrow. Are you able to watch the game there? Oh, and if your ears were burning a few mutual friends met in South London tonight thinking it would be good to see you soon!
  8. Ha ha Whiteboy. Jeremy Corbyn doesn't want some of us oldies to support him so we still go, when we can be arsed! On topic, haven't seen Garrrrp in yonks tho. Think Brentford was the last time I noticed him.
  9. I remember at that time that my club were a few divisions above them we only ever met them in a mid week league (Middlesex league). They were always full of cadets from Hendon. Thought that was how all their teams worked and they were signed up when at the college? Btw Malcolm, wasn't Andy Norman at Shaftesbury in NW London?
  10. above was about the chap we left in Varna.
  11. He was thinking of going back next year. Don't believe he did. Oh and he was a ST holder in the ESL near Satan.
  12. Bletchley is closer to ground - approx 1 mile plus are boozers that way. Going from London that way, seems better than a 2.9mile journey with only roundabouts to visit.
  13. So wonderful to see we aren't limping into the season. Good atmosphere yesterday with singing coming from each end of the ESL. Loved it.
  14. friendly in late autumn 1968? Something more to it but can't remember, possibly a testimonial? Where is satan when you need him?
