  1. The first game I can really recall was Eddie Hopkinsons testimonal , I was 9 (I had been going for years before that, but thats the one that stands out) I've dug this out have a read , it been a lot worse then now http://www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Histo...~535719,00.html
  2. To be honest , been through all this so many times before in the past watching Bolton , I just cant get to exited about it all now, what will happen will happen. Worrying and moaning about it will not change what will happen, all it will do is give you heart burn and high blood pressure, in the grand scheme of things it really is not that important, the club itself will carry on whatever happens
  3. Was it Gartside or a cardboard cut out
  4. i thought exactly the same. We need every player now! Tal to right back, Hunt left back in the dressing room, Ricardo and Joey in midfield!
  5. I could understanding not starting at Portsmouth (weaker team) and then playing the Borg from the start today trying to keep them both fresh. But then waht the fcuk to I know
  6. If Jansen is fatigued then why the hell didn't the Borg start
  7. Wanderers: Jaaskelainen, O'Brien, N'Gotty, Ben Haim, Gardner, Davies, Nolan, Fadiga, Nakata, Stelios, Jansen. Subs: Walker, Borgetti, Vaz Te, Fojut, Hunt Latics: Pollitt, Chimbonda, Henchoz, Kavanagh, De Zeeuw, Scharner, Teale, Bullard, Ziegler, Baines, Mellor. Subs: Jackson, Johansson, Walsh, Francis, Thompson. Referee: Mr S Bennett
  8. I would have said that we would be in the shit , but those other 2 have done wonders
  9. Few wise words Another former Newcastle player, Kevin Gallacher, said the expectations of fans were unrealistic and their impatience made the manager's job harder. "Fans have got to realise the club is in a transitional period," he told Radio Five Live. "At Bolton, Sam Allardyce was given a 10-year contract and that gave him stability to get things up and running - he had a plan and has been able to apply it without pressure of getting sacked every day. "Two seasons isn't enough to conjure up a new squad, get them together and be challenging to win things."
  10. Looks like someones had a bad day
  11. Thats not a rumour, I think we can call that a fact
  12. They bent the rules for Sir Trevor when he took temp charge at West Ham
  13. For crying out load what do you people want ,we are 10 points better off then at the same point last season , in the last 32 of the UEFA cap still in the FA cup, and you are all predicting doom and gloom, for fcuk sake. Just because we didn't sign a "BIG" name we are now going to gobackwards for the rest of the season, why not wait and actually see what happens and then if it does go pear shaped then have a moan , but don't get all worked up over something which as yet to (and may not) transpire.
  14. He will not go now , the transfere window is shut ... he will be on a hiding to nothing with the dross that is at Newcastle .... he may go in the summer, then at least it gaves him chance to build a team
  15. So he played for a contract , if after 5 games he turned out to be crap then we would have shipped him out , but he had to PLAY well ... which he did and therefore he got a contact
  16. Nope Hunt still can't get in the team. Good point missed that one
  17. Played for a contract got it , played well against the Arse and then played just about alright after that but did not repeat that performance again in my humble opinion , lets hope he does when he returns
  18. I thought we had it down to 20 Mill
