  1. This is our FGR of league 2. Tough game but will get 3 points
  2. Every team is very ordinary, I reckon 90 will be enough for 2nd. We'll all drop points yet
  3. Supposed to be a promotion bonus and percentage of sell on profit. No idea if it's true or the same as the famous Chelsea loan but have seen it reported. Promotion and Dapo selling for say £3m will prob give us 50p
  4. Had to Google Konsa, never heard of him. Only kept a bit of an eye on it, Brazil not had much of a kick yet winning
  5. If he's injured for any length of time, ill get a little twitch in the toilet area
  6. Delighted for every one of them ballbags who were bouncing behind the net at full time last week
  7. Football free day for me. Glad of a rest from it
  8. Can't argue with that. Look at Wharton going from Rovers to Palace for £19m. Is he really £18m better than GT? Better yes, but not that gulf
  9. I think part of the model they are working on/hoping to work on, is in tandem with these analytics people. If we fail to go up, wouldn't surprise me if we sold Santos, promoted Forrester to a more prominent role and looked to pick up another Forrester to improve. Thomason similar - sell him on and look for a 20 year old L2 version etc. It's probably always been the plan to pay smallish fees for players eventually then aim to sell them on for millions. Takes time but can be done with excellent scouting
  10. Derby have a few games where they could easily drop points after today. However, if they are above us with 2 to play, they are up as they've got 6 points guaranteed - Cambridge & Carlisle
  11. Played there on loan at Burton last season and did well by all accounts. Fwiw, I think there's a decent player in there with him
  12. Took the Mrs down - stayed in a decent b&b to fair with a pub over the road which had reasonable beer. Other than that, I'm with everyone else - shithole. Not going again
  13. Anyone seen this with the Irish band playing a gig in Zurich on Paddy's day, started playing Murder on the dance floor. Sophie Ellis Bextor was in the pub and got on the stage to sing it. My mate is guitarist for them. Made plenty of Irish press
  14. I can just see this flag on barriers around the world. It's shit but it's done exactly what Nike wanted and got people talking. No such thing as bad publicity
  15. That footballer woman - Jill Scott, her coffee shop at Northenden is the old Sandy's Northenden branch
  16. I'm only going if auto's are a possibility. Might mean I have to get a match ticket but won't do anything about transport until I know for sure
  17. After so long of strikes, people have simply got used to the idea trains are unreliable
  18. I might have been once or twice back in the day. Closed down years ago - must be at least 10 years or so now. Some belting birds in there
  19. Not keen on safe standing, kept banging my hands on the railings at Derby, usually while frustrated with proceedings.
  20. City's owners have spent a fortune developing the area around the ground and creating loads of jobs by all accounts - which is investment the government don't want to lose by punishing them too harshly
  21. I'm really surprised how little he's been utilised this season. He's a defender who can actually defend though so that probably goes against him
  22. I'd say we are bigger than Blackburn but not by very much. They are the club most alike us size wise in the 92
  23. I've done the derbies at both grounds with Villa, the intensity of hatred is brilliant to see. It's a real experience being in a 21 black cab convey of zulus being dropped off at the back of the Holte End
  24. They can pull far bigger followings for games which really matter. They are a big city club who have gone through the shit for far too long.
