Took over an hour to get off the arena, attempted fanzone pre match but the queue just after 1pm was already to the north stand offices
Great atmosphere, not the best game but I think we can beat these friday if we play like we did post-substitutions
Get the sentiment but you can't go to games before you were born, so inevitably, it will be biased towards older folk
Those 17 year olds are the now and the future of the club, although I can understand the frustration of those who have been loyal for a much longer period missing out on occasions
They'd still be guaranteed a ticket for nearly all aways on that basis. Just the really small allocations, those that go to more than 6 - 7 would get first dibs
It makes sense
What a day, couldn't have gone better
My only previous experience of Wembley was Stoke 5-0
From the old fella on his own sat next to me saying lofthouse also scored on the 4th minute in 58 to the young lads going for it at half time under the stand, we were great and our fans were a credit to the club today which is a line we don't always toe the right side of whilst meaning well.
COYWM THIS IS ONLY THE BEGINNING
What's the best way back to kings cross after the game? Tube from wembley park or overground from wembley stadium? I know both will be rammed but not sure if one is generally better than the other
Heard mixed reviews, similar good food, poor service
Also heard from 5 different people that they've ordered beef wellington and been told they don't have any 🤷
Better team on the day. We just never looked up for it today. First 20 mins of the second half was up there with our best away support for a long time for me. Felt good to be in a full ground!
Those Sheffield to Barnsley trains are gunna be packed assuming they run. If anyone's stuck there's the X17 bus from sheffield interchange (opposite the station) which is direct to Barnsley, not ideal but an option if the remaining trains get cancelled at short notice.
Still a way away but seems to be progressing. Lots of work being done by UKAEA and Culham centre for fusion energy down near Oxford. Getting it to work is one thing, the materials needed to withstand the heat and pressure is another!
