  1. Jimmy Carr: Natural Born Killer Now, I like Jimmy Carr. He’s very, very funny in my opinion. Pushes the boundaries, doesn’t give a fuck, takes comedy where it should maybe go This is utter, utter shite. Not remotely funny. Nothing to make me laugh at all. Real shame Leave this sort of challenging cancel culture thing to Gervais. He’s way better at it
  2. Decent first episode to set the series up
  3. Aye. Both are firm rides but the Merc seats are way softer. Only driven Skodas a couple of times but those seats are hard
  4. Favourite Bolton keeper - Seamus - edges out Barry Siddall. Jussi was class but didn’t have to cope with the pitches that they did Favourite international keeper- Buffon Best saves- Jussi at Blackburn Iconic moment- Branagan vs Reading Icon- Schmeicel - took keeping to another level
  5. Completely agree. If it can be done then get the money in BWFC pockets.
  6. It’s a great idea but, realistically, with the approach from the station, the hotel entrance, the car park, is there enough room for one that’s worth it. Not against the idea at all, just wondering if it’s workable. And then add in GMP…
  7. If the comfort for the parents is a big issue I’d go Merc every day Such a low mileage I’d certainly consider electric or hybrid at the very least
  8. Just hit East Manc. Thunder, lightning, hail, the lot. Now I can see blue skies. Got to be into double figures the number of times the same thing’s happened today
  9. Great performance. But not quality enough to finish them off. I’ll take a positive though. We didn’t do our usual - sell loads of tickets for a big game in front of a nearly full house and completely capitulate Happy Clapper in me says Derby are more than capable of completely fucking up their run in. Them and Peterborough took advantage when we threw away our games in hand. Both are now having a bit of a wobble. Reckon its final day stuff this
  10. That was an absolute belter @Zico
  11. Have to admit that by the time that he disappeared I’d come to the conclusion that he was a massive bullshitter after a load of conflicting stuff on some posts that I was discussing with him. Cant remember what they were so can’t refer back to them If he really was genuine then I hope that he’s OK
  12. Yep. And your dad. I grew up in Sharples and my dad in Smithills. Short hop over the hill to Blackburn. He never missed the chance to take me to Ewood from a very early age. That promotion game we were on a dad and lad ticket in their riverside stand. Blackburn always a rival for me from that day
  13. Finished that last night. Brilliant. Scary to think about how much stuff I was oblivious to. Particularly in the 80s. Also how much I didn’t know about Putin’s rise to power
  14. Might be remembering wrong but Greaves got a fair ride from the Burnden crowd in Div2. Think it was a “here we go again” attitude. Only turned nasty second season in Div 1
