Tried to ignore it, gone through the “autos is over process,” gone through the “save your money for Play-offs process” but I can’t shake the “What if” moment and not being there. So fuck it… I’m in 😄

We are 100/1 with the bookies for top 2 and you’ll be able to get more on the exchanges.

Sometimes you’ve just got to accept that it simply ain’t going to happen.

Anyway If you’re still unsure, put the £100 you will be spending on @ 100/1. I’m sure the £10K return will make up for not being there 😎

Yeah, I think people are putting a lot of faith into this 2nd leg at home scenario.

My big worry is the tie being out of hand after the first leg.

    🤦‍♂️

Said the same to @Biggish Dave at the PV game.

Personally I don’t see it as a massive advantage.

No idea which team will turn up in an away game, especially against a top 6 team as we know what tends to happen.

Prefer to go away with a lead from the home leg.

Just can't see Evatt buying him with a short term plan. Evatt was aiming for championship,  so why buy a player on a contract if you're gonna bin him off?

Why give Morley a new contract when he can’t even get a game in L1?

Paris won young player of the year.

Understandable if it’s only based on the last few weeks.

I’m unsure of the age bracket here but surely GT had to win it over the whole season?

He's scored from open play in 3 home games this season, the same as Bod and Iredale, less than Tomo.  (Collins has scored in 5 home games just in March and April).

    Poor stats.

If we go up, neither him or Vic are good enough.

Collins is looking the real deal though.

    Fine margins though innit pal.

We aren't shit. We are probably where we should be, we've just come up short where it mattered most but there's 3 more games to change that and I think we are capable.

It is “fine margins” I agree but we should have been strong enough to see it out.

Cant help feeling we’ve thrown it away and we’ll surely never get a better chance to get out of this awful league.

Just hope we don’t bottle the play-offs.

    🙏

Do you not get bored of being such a dick?

@RUREADY2ROLL has proven to be right in the end though.

The “best team in the league” hasn’t even managed a top 2 finish and subsequently made a lot of posters/happy clappers on here look rather foolish.

Some howlers for Dion there today - hopefully he's got it out of his system now. If Nlundulu had missed those chances there'd be effigies burned in the street!

People forget Ray was not scoring for a good while before his injury and people were saying he needed a rest.

    Headless chicken.

I can see them getting a draw

They won’t drop points in 2 games unfortunately

    Not a chance.

They will hammer Carlisle and for that reason I hope they win today too.

Hope it’s not bloody Blackpool in the play-offs.

These guys should be fetching a decent amount considering they can still stay up

    They’ve given up. Virtually relegated.

    Only had 4000 on mid-week.

    Shifted just over 1000.

Derby will sack Warne, probably about 8 games in like they did with his predecessor, once they realise he's shit in the championship

He may be but at least he knows how to get there.

  12. Failure to go up and I think IE will walk, nicely dressed up by FV.

He’s aged considerably and I don’t think he’s handling the pressure too well.

If he can’t get us up this year then he won’t manage it next season in a far stronger league.

Yes he’s connected the town with the football club again but progress has been too slow and he’s simply not savvy enough, too stubborn, emotional & inconsistent in his behaviour.

There are so many similar themes to last season from both a results & performance perspective too.

Anyway FV need to show some balls, and appoint someone with a proven track record if we fail in the play-offs.

Warne will have been promoted 4 times from L1 after this season.

It may not be pretty football but who cares.

    It works.

  13. Really didn’t fancy that kick-off time anyway so it’s now an easy decision.

Saving my money, time and energy for the play-offs.

  14. We’ll win tomorrow but can’t help feeling we’ll have to win at Peterborough too and we simply won’t.

Our away form against the teams currently in the top 13 is:

    Won: 1 (ONE).

    Drawn: 5

    Lost: 5.

    Unbelievably awful.

  15. People keep going on about the away game.

Yes Charles missed a sitter but we recovered and went on another great run over Xmas and into Jan.

It’s the away form - Feb onwards that has cost us.

Oh, and If we really are the best team in the league, then we have yet another chance to prove it and get promoted.

Him and Geoff Thomas were in Monteraze before the match.

In the days before selfies, I got a pen and paper from behind the bar. Went up to them and said 'autograph'

Sure replies De Wolf. I signed the paper twice, split it in half and gave them 1 each

    Remember that.

    You’re a funny guy 😎
