Some great hints, tips n info on here! so in summary, it may be best to either go down on the day or go down the day before and stop over either for one or two nights. Or u could go there n back in a day. Travel ether by car, mini bus, coach or train. Get in the ground early or late, drink local or away from the venue!😂 my preference is actually to suggest an area close to a tube station a few stops from Wembley and meet up there late morning with the first to arrive to find a good boozer, catch the tube about 2 pm, works for me. Wingates was the capital of Bolton at the time n a large gang of us went in greenys van, did a lap of the ground before the game bantering with Micky mousers and they didn’t want to know, same on the pitch, they didn’t want to know and we hammered them, result never in doubt. if I’m ever in a comma then just show me that pic n it’ll bring me round.

A festive ding dong served up to a crowd of 200+ The sticky pitch meant there were lots of flying tackles in this hard fought local derby that ended 1-1. Daisy played neat football and their industry earned them two penalties in the first half. The first one was scored but the second one was well saved by LR keeper. LR rattled the crossbar twice one first half but Daisy keeper wouldn’t be beaten so 1-0 to Daisy at h/t was a fair reflection of play. The second half was more level, Daisy were the more skilful team but LR never gave up and were awarded a soft penalty in the 90th minute to equalise. Honours even, LR supporters celebrated like they had won, If Daisy can start turning possession into goals then they will get promoted.
