  1. Miles better today, actually enjoyed watching it periods. Football at this level is wank though, how they get paid to do it as a full time job is mind boggling.
  2. Even before he jacked in Bernal had been saying he was hitting all his numbers and was nowhere near. You would have thought Ineos would have a better doctor than that unless they were hoping to highlight blatant foul play from others......
  3. Without a word of a lie if we saw their name on the night our hearts sank. People love em and remember them fondly to this day though.
  4. Managed to get it working on daughter's fancy machine for the start of the game, I'll wipe the beans and stuff off mine at half time when I fish it out the bin.
  5. Ifollow still not working for me, laptop is going out the window in a minute and I'll go for some cans instead.
  6. Just done season 1 of The Boys, like a bit of superhero shit from time to time so will give the second series a go as well.
  7. Keeping the faith on us and BTTS for a bit yet, 1-2 with a Santos 25 yard rocket claiming the victory.
  8. The Men They Couldn't Hang? Still going, great band live, strangest ideas for songs you could get apart from Sting imagining he was a dog, and a legendary stage invasion video widely available on Youtube.
  9. On a Wanderers forum Scopyons would be guaranteed a shout surely.
  10. Fuck sake I was a bit slow with that 😂 Was he right about you using Lee and Redbridge?
  11. Perry have been niggling me all day because I have some memory of the name but not really them, my mate went as far as telling me about practising at Redbridge and how we'd seen em loads. It's mad when you think you could watch bands in town a good 4 days a week for a while, some good solid stuff like Three Fat Bastards, Right Band Wrong Planet, Tony Auton and loads loads more. Any road back on topic I've been listening to a mix bag this week, Carter USM and the like. Do Ned's count as underrated?
  12. Just noticed Morrison's have got Triple Hazy in stock, £4 for a 9.5% 440ml can. World's gone mad.
  13. She won't remember this but back in the early 90s they became Dumb who were brilliant as well and they did a gig at Hawthorns. It was full of folk who'd gone for after hours ale and not the bands that were on but the sound they made was fucking incredible. I was that pissed I got confused at one point and kept shouting Swerve and instead of twatting me Mark just gave me a wave. Bad story but good times.
  14. Dub Sex, got very excited to see them again last year and Mark got tinnitus and had to pack it all in.
  15. If I walk into an ale house I'm buying Strongbow, Guinness, or whatever bitter probably in that order of preference - you can't drink them at home because they are shite out of a tin.
  16. Some new SALT stuff at Tesco today including a SALT x Pomona Island NEIPA called SHOOP. Didn't have the HUCKABaCK though which was a shame or possibly a blessing.
  17. Black people perform badly because they are black ?
  18. It's OG Hazy that's the stronger one and in 440ml.
  19. Just had an email from school saying that someone is spreading rumours on social media that they are hiding cases and keeping open regardless, they know who is doing it because they mention that the only connection they have with the school is that they live on the same street as some pupils. Whether it's just a fucking busybody or a Covid snitch I don't know but you'd think people and schools have enough shit to deal with without folk being dicks.
  20. Bit of a guilty pleasure but I only ever listen to Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts by Dylan.
  21. Bit of a headache this morning. If you're into that sort of thing and come across it then treat yourself to a few bottles of Tripel Karmeliet, belting beer.
  22. Of course I am, is that not what expressing your opinion is ?
  23. I don't know because I don't manage a pro cycling team and I'm not a pro cyclist, i'm just expressing my opinion after knowing the history of the sport, knowing people who have raced, and watching it personally for 45 years.
